You're right, i kinda pulled that number from my ass. Never the less, a majority of fresh game devs are reaching for pre-made assets and rigs and that is just something you just can't deny. Whether it's cutting corners or just substituting for the lack of experience, it exists.did you know that 63% of all statistics are all made up?
but seriously, where did you pull that number from? almost all the games i've played are hand made. a family venture, power vacuum, treasures of nadia, echoes of lust, the guy in charge, etc. sure while some are really bare and very few frames, at least they are original. for me, it's the opposite. 10% of the games i play are pre-made animations.
all i'm saying it, i was extremely impressed by what i saw, but that was misplaced since it's something he hit copy and paste to do. is the scene still hot? yes. i just thought he did it himself.
Lust epidemic had this where you would have like 4 variants of every animation but with different clothes and shit, remember? Also i could be trippin but i swear that the animations itself weren't very diverse in a way that they all kinda blended together, felt like he just replaced some actors and changed the angle a bit to make it seem different, i don't know.Lust Epidemic is the only game of his i played. i read a lot of his comics sure, but lust epidemic is the first form of animation from him i've seen. haven't started treasure of nadia yet, so i don't know how much he reuses his own animations. i don't remember a lot of repeating in Lust Epidemic at least. that one was one of the ones i referred too as bare. it's like 5 fps animations.
Oops, I mean the last... any1?Can't find 2nd CD-Image. :c
Am I blind?
Milky Touch? Might be, but my memory is unreliable.
Looks like Milky Touch.
It's from Milky Touch
Why reinventing the wheel when you find a good one that spins without wobbeling ?!!i thought the handjob animation was amazing, until i learned that it was just a pre-made animation.

I wish it was as easy as cut and paste. Depending on the dev's rig, that animation could take two or three days or longer to render. Even though the animation is purchased, the staging, lighting, etc. isn't. You could easily spend a day getting the scene setup and testing to see if everything looks right before you start rendering the animation.did you know that 63% of all statistics are all made up?

Yes the animation is just applied to the skeleton of the model, you still have to put it in place in the room ajust lightings and render it, it's not a fully rendered movie that you throw in your movie folder and use right away.I wish it was as easy as cut and paste.
