There are some really good games on here with wonderful stories. I think people and a majority of developers are either lazy, greedy or a combination of both. I can count on just one hand the best developers who have great stories and they update regularly without fail. Non of this rinse and repeat lines just to add padding/filler to make the game appear bigger than it really is.
The other problem is a people problem, in that seemingly a vast majority people, can't be bothered to ready very much or anything at all, or simply cannot read in the first place, there are too many illiterate people in the world in this day and age who just want to look at the so called 'pretty (porn) pictures in the vn'. I am not blaming them, there is obviously a good reason why they are illiterate in the first place which is really sad.
The dev getting $1600+ a month and he doesn't have enough motivation? That is more money than an average salary in some european countries and in south east asia. No doubt he also works full time, so he is getting his monthly salary on top. Regardless its still a lot of money from a hobby, he should be thankful imo.

She might not be the main focus by herself, but the family is, and she's part of it, so she is part of the main focus. The banner makes that clear enough. Instead of trying to downplay her lack of content, can't we just agree that a lot of guys here need to calm the fuck down and let the dev cook? It's a slow simmer, but at least it's cookin', and we can be pretty certain when it's ready that it's gonna be goood
