Afaik this was just a work-in-progress version that got leaked, there was supposed to be added more but the dev didn't finish it after the hate he got for the leaked version.

5. Returns to find Santa/Rupert has busted his ass on front walkway...

AFTER PLAYER HAS INVESTED A CRAP TON OF TIME IN THIS GAME BTW...
8. Can't progress forward w/preparing presents bcuz dev is butt hurt and won't finish the 2nd part of the game?

Yep, the christmas update was kind of a bonus to give the patrons for all the time delay (after the patreon incident, patreon drop, steam taking a while). It was never planned and came up as an idea at the start of December. Dev was going to give scenes to Sophie and Hazel, maybe one to Selina. Since he had little time and only managed to drop the current content, a lot of people were unhappy. After a lot of discussion (and i mean a whole frekin lot), the decision was to not continue the special bonus episode and focus at the update to be approved by Steam. Most patreons are in favor of that

Nuthin' from nuthin' mate but let's keep it real. That's a load of excuses and nonsense that is WAYYYYYYY too much bullshit to put up with, rationalize, jump through mental hoops, and finally settle for...in a porn game. We all get that devs have other jobs and holidays are tough...yada yada yada but this is a CF of epic proportions ending w/what sounds like a dev whining and taking his ball home. In the history of Gunpowder Cocktail, let this forever be known as The Great Christmas Fuckup Debacle of 2023. Bad planning, poor execution, and worst of all...QUITTING.
I REALLY like this game and sincerely hope dev gets back on track but we've seen these stories and projects before and they often end the same way. Dev loses interest and they just fade away. We'll see what happens from here.

Certainly everything is possible, interest is something that can go around, be brought up and then go down into the abyss. My intention was merely giving everyone a bit of inside info to understand how we got here. I was a patreon for a few months and i am a fan of the game. The game indeed received a lot of absurd acussations, like saying there has been only one update this year, expecting sex content in a well known rushed bonus sequence and a lot more. A bit of offensive people also used this mined field to be pricks. It is also undeniable that the Dev received a hard punch to the gut and probably lost some faith in the project and the future, which led to bigger delays. So you can find reason to both sides and develop your conclusions (as long as the respect is maintained). As a fellow fan of the game i do hope things do get better and 2024 brings more regular updates, a bigger patron fanbase and a whole more of Sophie XD
yeah next month... or maybe in 2030 we will have the definitive blue ball machine update
I would've really loved to see the old guy (forcibly) deflowering Hazel. Very sad if all this unnecessary drama prevented it to happen.
The reason for the virus warning is that I upgraded Ren'Py to a new version and I think that is not yet listed as "safe" in the Windows Defender's database. Windows Defender often automatically labels apps as "unsafe" if there is not enough data about them on the internet yet. It's not about me. It's Defender's brilliantly coded artificial intelligence. And FYI, if there is a !ml next to the virus type, that means machine learning. It is not something that has been approved by the real people.
Also, according to Windows Defender, the 64-bit .exe file does not contain any viruses. Maybe I should stop making 32-bit .exe files as many have suggested. Better than a headache, huh?

i really like the younger sister character (with bigger boobs she would look really great) but it seems (and correct me if i am wrong) even this was a quality xmas special, it still was it seems just teasing (again) could have been something with the milf and no teasing just hardcore sex would have been great to see too. (at least optionally).
quality/execution wise these xmas specials are something like a 8/10. but since it seems to be just teasing always (halloween and christmas) makes it a 3/10 and at the end in conclusion a 5/10.
