v 0.86.1, English, around 17%, bunch of old events are still not progressed as I did not go in optimal path. Normally at this point I already have Sarah progressed up to quest locking events.

Yeah, I agree the 'wait next day' quest is quite annoying, but you need to progress the story in order to have h scenes with the girls on the island

Not sure if the AI animations were really needed. Question of taste I guess... Not mine, and if the game was done at first that way I guess I'd pass, but since the time I play it, I just wish to finish it (if finished someday) and would have hoped not AI animations. Just playing for the story. Sex scenes I pass I don't even care. I care even less about Ai animations, story only because that's the only first thing I liked about this game like 5 years ago, why? Because it was a time main games had a good story nowaday it's full of upgrades addons and stuff and story is bad, even the content, and it's sometimes even better to play a supposed porn game with strong story then a crappy main game supposed to be ubber. But this AI thing is the beginning of the end because most of the thing will be done for it and not the story anymore or not much. This needs an end at some point. Or create a Hail dicktator 2 where it could be full of AI stuff or anything but I think at some point some rare people would really like a conclusion for this story. I feel like being my grandma watching "The Bold and the Beautiful" in the 80's or " The Young and the Restless " neverending thing. It needs an end (at least for a first game, but I won't be there for the second, I don't like neverending stories, neither games or books or tv), some games take way more time to deliver an update so it can be understandable if it takes a lot of time, but here it's updated many times and still never an end at all and more and more new thing coming from everywhere.

Message says "loading languages" and not download languages. If you check what is written in background, game will tell you that you are missing VC++ runtime libraries.

This game is one of my favorite games. But my biggest gripes with the game would be wait until the next day quests. I also hate quests that require a girl to be in a specific location. If we can call Sonya to the bank or the electronics store why can't we call her to the cafe? The same with Daisy, why can't we call her to the hospital or the barn? I hate finishing one part of a quest for it to tell me to wait another day but talk to daisy at the hospital. Except for the fact she's at the hospital today. So she won't show up tomorrow, I end up waiting 2 days instead of the minimum one day.
An extremely boring game with very little interactive gameplay, I don't know why it's on top in search results. It feels more like a powerpoint with some sex scenes here and there, and it's not even animated. The punishment and reward system, which is introduced as the selling point of this game, is also very poorly developed as there isn't any stats to gauge a girl's progress, it's like click this and that until you unlock the scene.
Non-H gameplay is also very boring, as if not put much thought into at all. Basically you get money everyday and you can increase it by punishing/rewarding girls (?) Hotel management usually involves customers, purchasing upgrades, doing customer service among other things. It just doesn't make any sense that the main business of the player is generating money from thin-air.
It's a 5 year old game so understandably there are better games nowadays in terms of gameplay and visual, but the core of the game just isn't there from the beginning.

This is not a visual novel. It is sandbox rpg that tells a story. If you prefer being railroaded through sex scenes, you will never like game that gives you freedom to move at your own pace. You can finish your favorite sex VN within an hour on auto skip and move to next movie. Can't do this with this game as it tries to keep you hooked up for longer.
You only showed that you do not like the game without giving any proof that better games of similar player freedom and controls exist.
