What, never heard of roleplay? Adds to the spice and sexy times later my man. Build up that sexual tension and what not.
I'd prefer to see foreplay that doesn't involve our main character getting wasted because some bitch decides to go full monkey on our boy's ass.

Our MC deserves a goddess like dr.kuneida or samantha. Hell even ashley is shaping out to be quite dynamic and cool.

Your comment made me LOL, Em is too naive for there to be any sexual tension, just frustration and blue balls . :giggle:

Tropes and memes are meant to be funny, not sexy. If it is sexy, then the comedic drop will eventually come later at your expense.

Right because every game should be the same: many girls, choose one, side fuck the rest. Apparently there can't be a game of which it is different and we so very well know how everything is going to turn out with every path and such already clearly. It's the Devs game. He wants to do this, then so be it. It's his game. He wants to stick with it, so be it. Maybe he does a redo down the road, the so be it. If your not a fan, the door is right there, feel free to take it. Not every dev is going to cater to every single persons needs or desires. It's the way of the beast.
My problem isn't with the game not being a wall-to-wall fuckfest with a hundred girls to choose from and no one is claiming the dev can't march to the beat of his own drum. I just think it's a questionable decision for a choice-based adult visual novel to force the player to love a particular character. And then you have limited contact with said character. How am I supposed to love her when I can't spend that much dedicated time with her? Maybe next episode will be different, but right now this is what we've got.

These forums are not and should not just be a place for fanboys. As long as the criticisms are constructive and not mean-spirited, then they have their place here too. Improvements can't be made if the dev never sees what the audience is thinking (both good and bad). You like the game and are a fan, and that's great. I like the game too, but I have concerns like some others and here is the place to voice those concerns.

Idk who rock your boat mate, but have you ever heard about freedom of speech.
Did I say anything bad?
I can comment about anything I want, including the things I like or don't like about the game.
I'm not insulting him or saying game bad, shit dev, I gave my opinion about the game and people agreed, when he makes more content I will again comment what I like or don't like, if you disagree more power to you.
I'm not demanding anything from the dev, he probably won't even read the comments, but that doesn't mean I can't say my opinion.
But that censor politic if you don't praise the game shut up, is something to think about.

Freedom of speech is exactly what he meant dude.

Maybe read his post first before getting worked up? No one is exactly censoring shit.
Who says I'm worked up, quite the opposite I'm very chilled now
I did read his post, did you?
Pretty sure he said if you don't like it the door is there.
I just gave my opinion, idk why he felt the need to respond like that, maybe the devs his friend idk

Aight idk about yall but I really would prefer if the emily isn't a forced love interest.

That's a terrible idea being forced into one so early. I may he unironically playing porn games for story purposes but getting forced to play a main character with a set love interest that's infinitely less interesting and tropey than the characters around her is a serious bummer.

Hell even I think the small jap doctor is better than emily.

So in your statement the standard of the episodes should pretty much be akin to say BaDiK yes? Again, the Dev, in an odd way of things, has a method to this madness and it doesn't look like he is going to do anything to change anything any time soon, as it's been said priorly by him. And yeah, I get the frustation: All theses other dollies peaking our interests and wanting to be slayed yet the main dolly ain't getting any attention. That much I get and can get behind as it is odd to have. At the same time though, a bit of a writer myself, I see it as a sense of kind of filling the gaps and building things up while at the same time figuring out how do I want to make this romance work in such a way and how I want to present it. It's a hassel for sure. You want to love the main dolly, yet at the same time though there is another character that you think is tempting and you to have that as well and so on and so forth. For me I think Az has something here yet needs to refine the preverbal end game and then go backwards from there. Have the end path and its possible planned exits and then plot out what you want to do in each chapter in a more clearly defined manner. Then again, maybe he already has and we just don't truly know the path yet.

If your talking about forums shouldn't be a place for fanboys, tell that to circlejerks in the Being A Dik Thread. No matter what you say your going to get a mixed bag of people here: Fans, trolls, people on the fence, intelligent people, dumbasses, etc. It's the nature of the beast as such.

That's not really what he meant. And I have no idea why you keep referencing being a dik.

The dude just basically said that being forced to a love interest where he has no interest in or isnt getting enough screentime is a terrible way to go about a choice based visual novel. And that's a perfectly valid form of criticism.

I don't think it has to be like BaDIK; although, that system does work well for DPC. A writer can tell their own story, the story they want, that much is true. But again, in a choice-based adult visual novel (we're not talking Tolkien here), I don't think it is wise to force the player to have one specific LI from the beginning. I hate it when AVNs start me out with a girlfriend or forced LI. The writer is taking a big chance in assuming I'll love their waifu as much as they do. If the writer fails to entice the AVN player with their "it girl", then the more often than not, the story fails. A good example for me personally is Acting Lessons. I hated Megan from the start, so I never believed in the romance. I don't hate Emily, but I don't love her that's for sure. I'm willing to have my mind changed, but that's a tall order.

There's no bigger BaDIK fanboy than me, but I love seeing dissenting opinions in the forum. How boring it would be if everyone there was 100% pro-Sage. I mean they would be incredibly smart and have good taste :giggle: but it would be boring nonetheless.

after getting to know the girl left behind by ashley, who was forced to grow up without a proper friend to rely on, and having to deal with the parents the both of them clearly hate, i want to show her what a real friendship looks like

Jokes aside, it's pretty disappointing. I don't mind a full-center Ashley update, she has got a lot of character development but we are basically trapped during the whole episode in passive attitude, enduring Ash's sister jealousy, insecurities and her snobbish behavior. No real choices or dialogue options except "peeking". The MC was more like a psychological tool for the whole family than a proper character.
