Sorry about the delay. The next update is actually very close. It's taken some time because I wanted to add some new animations to the upcoming scene, and they can be a big time-sink to make.
If you don't mind the spoiler, I will put an example of one of the upcoming animations here for you.

i would kinda like a route where she gets tricked to help the brainwasher chick for a bit then the brainwasher turns around and and use perfected device on you. then give you to the captain who you find out is still alive.

The current plan goes as such:
1- complete the next step in the games side stories.
This includes the Slums side story (which was the last update) as well as the Cat-girl story and the park statue story. Alone with those, I'm going to be adding new scenes with the Ogress Butler, the Fairies, and the Mage.
Once those side stories are done, I will returning to the main storyline, where I need to do a number of things.
1: Follow up on the Guardian (what happens to her now the Captain of the guard is missing)
2. Introduce the Cult, the antagonists who the Guild is opposing.
3. The story will then include a call to action for the Sorceress, where the Cult will directly antagonize her, pushing her to work closer with the Guild.
4. Add more submission and dominance training scenes to the Guild, furthering her corruption while Sorceress is getting more involved in the conflict/conspiracy.
Basically the next part of the story will have her become an active part of the conspiracy, while being slowly corrupted until she wants to further the Guilds other goals, even beyond just opposing the Cult.

I'm hoping the new developments coming for the main storyline introduce an opportunity to evolve the power/relationship dynamic between the Sorceress and Dopple/the servants. I'd like her to take a submissive or more slave-like role at home like the current "happy end" there, without actually being an ending to allow for more interactions to take place with the NPCs at home.
Public version of latest update will be available on 3rd or 4th October, as public version is 7 days delayed by patreon version.

Had the same problem. Just use the transform spell when the screen goes black to turn into a cat and that will make the screen go to normal.
