Graphics are very nice! Style is awesome.
My suggestions:
1. Easier/more camera-control with mouse: pan with right-click for example. rotate with left and right same time.
2. Not just advance in a scene, but also return - e.g. switch between positions.
And the most important:
3. The current meta-play "throw blessed swords" makes it very easy - too easy. Make other styles somehow more viable or even remove sword-throwing alltogether (or maybe special mode with special "price" without sword-throwing).
Those are some good ideas, I think that if we could just zoom in/out with mouse roll and orbit around the character with wasd/mouse movement it could improve a lot since currently the camera controls are a lot more 'manual' like in most 3d modelling softwares (maybe a swap option for those who like that view control style).
About the sword throwing meta it's more about balancing the gameplay, like adding a dmg drop based on target distance or just making alternative ways of defeating a mob more effective. Perhaps adding mobs that are immune to certain types of attack could add some light puzzle elements. (could work too for weakness exploits, such as attacking slimes with cold dmg)
I guess the dev is planning on adding the main content before focusing on tackling the gameplay loop and adding/tweaking Quality of Life features to the game, which is fair. Hope that this project can get complete because it has the opportunity to be really good after polishing the edges.
