Hi everyone...

You know, all that time without my PC (first the CPU and motherboard failure, then my stupid monitor) made me think about things. We take so many little things for granted, don't we? There were days, like I mentioned before, when I felt too depressed to work. But now, after being forced to stop even when I wanted to work... it's made me realize we shouldn't waste the time we have when all our tools are working. You never know when things might go even more to shit, right?

I haven't really shared much about my creative process with you all... I don't know if it matters much, but...

When I'm working on updates, and when I'm focused on dialogue interactions... sometimes, the weirdest thing happens - new interactions just pop into my head! Then I find myself thinking, "Oh no, I don't have renders to show that..."

Before, I used to either avoid those new interactions entirely or simplify them to avoid extra rendering work. But this time? I'm doing the opposite! You can actually see these changes if you check the pinned post - there are updates both in the Excel sheet and in the notes below it.

Speaking of progress, let me break down where I am!
I'm currently working on Nanami's main route (which has 3 sub-routes). After that, we have:
  • Amber's route (short dialogue-wise)
  • Madison's route (moderate length)
  • Elizabeth's route (a bit longer, but much less subdivided than Nanami's)
  • Isabella's route (moderate, similar to Madison's)
And finally, there's a section for the main story. It's short, but it's slowly building up the main plot!

I'm trying to be more transparent about all this... I hope seeing the process helps you understand how these updates come together.

Hi, im looking into trying this game out. Was wandering if season 1 is included in 0.22 remake update or is there a separate download somewhere?

The remake is only a partial remake of Season 1 as of this moment in time.

I have now finished both the old season 1 and 2 and also the remake and got to say, this is a pretty cool game, stunning visuals and a very interesting story. Only thing, for remake animations for sex scenes have been removed and that part now feels like a downgrade but hopefully the dev can get that sorted. Looking forward to more updates of this game for sure

The story's so convoluted now.. and correct if me i'm wrong but is the remake using AI renders? Because if it is then it would explain why it doesn't have animations.
I've played a game that transitioned to AI near the end. It was a mess and the last scenes never got animations because of it.

I kinda felt that was the case all the way back when Isabella fights with Nanami, felt there was renders missing but the writer got excited and made the fight bigger and bigger, there were mostly renders of Isabella pissed and nothing much of Nanami at all that interaction if I remember correctly. Also MC would go into all those self flagellating internal monologues that felt took too long and moved the story nowhere

may be remembering incorrectly as it's been a long time.

it's like you say, when I played that part I also thought that things were missing I felt like that discussion was much bigger than what I saw, and at first I thought it was because of the decisions I had made but when I played again I realized that the story was missing.

Hi everyone...

I... I need to be honest with you all. I'm really unhappy with how this update turned out. Not because of the story - that's actually progressing well and is better structured than before. It's the visual aspect that's killing me.

When I finally animated the frames I'd made, everything looked inconsistent because of the AI texture improvements. When I realized this... I was furious. So many hours just... wasted. I had to choose between scrapping all the animated work or salvaging what I could by keeping only select frames. I went with the latter. That's why if you check the changelog, you'll notice the animations are gone.

Between the PC issues and everything else, this project has really consumed me. And financially... it hasn't been going well. I've had to look for another job because I'm drowning in debt...

You know what's ironic? The AI stuff that I was so excited about at first... watching it animated just made me so angry. The only positive things I got from this experiment were learning new Lightroom and Photoshop techniques, plus AI training and prompting. But I definitely overcomplicated everything.

While figuring out what to do next, I discovered I could improve things using Normal Maps, Render SubD level, and other techniques I stupidly wasn't using before! This update did teach me more about coding (thanks to Cursor too!), and I learned a lot of technical stuff that you can see in the changelog.

This episode closes Arc 1! I have 5 arcs planned (4 episodes each). And no, I won't do what I did before with seasons and new clients - it'll stay the same client, same system. Maybe I'll group everything under one button in the next update... or maybe I'll wait until I figure something better out.

Now I need your help with something important! I have two options:

  • Continue with AI + 3D blending
  • Go back to pure 3D, but with improved textures (using upscaling, normal maps, bumps, higher render SubD)
I want to learn animation for two reasons... I love learning new things, and I've noticed it attracts more people. Beyond being a passion project, this needs to support me financially. Right now, I'm stressed with two jobs, tired of life, but... I keep going because I don't want my dog (the one from the logo - it's basically a copy-paste of his face) and my two cats to go hungry...

I've also removed two tiers - there weren't many people in them, and I couldn't deliver what I promised. I'm considering opening Boosty for Russian users since PayPal might still be blocked there... or maybe creating a PayPal.me for anyone who wants to contribute whatever they can without joining a tier. Just thoughts running through my head.

All I ask is this: please play the game and tell me what to do. Should I continue with AI and forget about animation, or go back to pure 3D and try animation? Both have pros and cons, but I need you to play the latest update to see if it's worth it or not.

Appreciate the transparency. The dev is doing a great job. Can tell the effort put forth and anyone who's dabbled in this stuff barely stick with it, let alone learn multiple tools.

With that said, it's better to keep chugging along and just drop animations altogether. Get rid of the screen shakes also. Plenty of games get away with zero animations and honestly very few can even do them well. Just a few additional images during sex scenes can go A LONG WAY.

I'm of the opinion that the damn AI should be removed and go back to 3D with the animations. The good thing about this is that it's been realized that the AI just ruined everything good the game had going for it. Still, and with all the crazy girls, I liked the story.
