I mean it is a little bit weird that the story is set in japan but most of the characters are clearly white. But does it make the game bad? Not really, but that is just my opinion.

I guess we need your expertise again
It's beyond that. He's changed the names of all the files... again, and changed the file/folder structure... again, etc. I'm flabbergasted at this point. There's no baseline to work with since each update it's like analyzing/playing a completely different VN... because it (structurally) basically is.

The 3 ultimate sins of a RenPy VN (imho):
  • change the fundamental platform language version in the middle of a project
  • renaming/reintroducing files, labels, variables, and/or functions
  • not having a proper storyboard/project gameplan BEFORE starting the project
All three of the above seem to be a recent phenomena of many of the devs I've worked. It's as if they completely forgot (or never understood the ramifications of) the fundamentals of any coding project. Usually it's always under the guise of " this will help me stay organized and focused on progression and efficiencies " but it never does, it all means nothing but aggravation and wasted time for all involved, including the end user (which is the absolute worst outcome of a retail product).

/end rant... I need the day's first cup of coffee.

Played this game until I found out this game is set in japan. Bro literally everyone looking fuckin white. They all have western names. None of them are Japanese at all idgaf what you say. There's like one asian chick in the game( the most boring and least sexually appealing charachter btw, ctrl skip all her scenes) yet this is japan?

I can handle porn logic for many things but broke me mentally.

Sorry, I can not continue.
it’s just that the Japanese are experiencing a younger brother complex in relation to the Americans after losing in WW2.
so the Anglo-American names of the Japanese are not a surprising phenomenon.
you can meet this for example in VN Waifu Academy. MC's father bears quite the name John, although you can't tell by his face that he is John - you'd rather call him Liao.

Soo, all the new Isabella content in the newest chapter so far is her doing a makeover on the MC with the help of Madison, and asking the MC to ban Nanami from the household? Is that all?

1rst point: yes, and I bet they don't even need or use the new version functionalities
2nd: it's annoying but don't forget it's not a retail product, it's in development. If it's well thought out and doesn't happen every update it's ok for a better product in the end
3rd: it's the most important point that has the previous point as consequence

Also don't forget most of them are not developers and it's their first experience with coding. They are artists first and foremost.

Don't fool yourself, it is indeed a retail product which returns a monetary profit from public users. Most software is always in "development", and much hardware as well. Everything you are using right now (software and hardware) to view this thread and respond is "in development" and yet is also a retail product.

I'll read whatever I want and your sass is not appreciated. The 'game's' plot is shit and more power to you if you can enjoy it. I'm out. Furthermore there are plenty of other's who voiced the same criticism as me.

Looks like the fans here want to brainlessly coom. More power to you and the rest of the troglodytes. Now fuck off.
I warned about the story going awry after the second release. THE SECOND FUCKING RELEASE.
That was many moons ago, but I could smell it. The brilliant story intro had nothing to do with the tone of the second release and the crappy tropes that started appearing. I mentioned it and all I got were some handy facepalms
I waited for a few months before playing the game again; that was when the daughter's friend (whas it her friend?) showed up or something. What a cringey story this is now, what a lack of sense in anything.

BTW, the busty girl with glasses is cute but grotesque; the body and face of a 12 year old with the boobs of your average landlady.
It's absurd and grotesque. People can convience themselves that she is fair game because she has those gigantic boobs, that's OK.
This is fantasy after all.
But if you want cuteness, you have Isabella; if you want big boobs, there's Amber; neither of those is grotesque looking.

Meanwhile, I wouldn't care much about this game until Antonella makes a comeback. That's the only thing that keeps me interested in this: to find out what kind of riveting story the devs have planned for Antonella's return :LUL:
