Was my take on it.

as far as I can tell the choices made in the previous version have no impact on the events of the new update.

i wont speculate about stuff that is not in the game, i'll tell what is in the game already
you can start shaping Elizabeth into becoming exhibitionist again. Choices for that were in previous chapters, and you could have seen a difference in her reaction to Amber in your room, or what swimsuit she was wearing, and how accepting or even forward she was in flirting with MC. (it's her special kink, so to say). This system is rough on edges, but rough edges are our forte, at this point.
Some choices are important, some scene cosmetics, even if not used rn

But then why set it in Japan at all? By making such a big point of showing it's set in Japan, but not putting the attempt in to make the characters Japanese, you're drawing attention away from the game itself and instead onto the fact the characters don't look as they should.

Shit, unless I missed something when I played, I don't even think it being in Japan is pertinent to the plot which makes it doubly odd. The Dev could have set the game in Penisland, a beautiful island in the Impressive Girth Ocean on Planet Vulva and people wouldn't even bat an eye.

It looks like a different game, only with the same characters.
Assuming that up to 0.42 ver, there was a suction power of the story itself that made you read
and immerse yourself in each and every dialogue between characters.
In this update, it feels like it has become an ordinary game that is no different from ordinary VNs.
No one has the same fingerprint. The game also has an identity, this update is very different from the previous ones.

This being said, the girls are used to the types og gangsters that traffic women and own them,
as demonstrated in the glimpses of the lives of the two girls fawning over men at the club.

okay but again she just met him she doesn't know he has a good heart or not

all she knows about him is this horrible story that paints him in a terrible light

it would make sense if she got to know him first and then later on he told her the story
