Unnecessary rework when the game still was in the beggining fase, AI used in rework with a lot of typical visual glitches and artifacts which made characters look weird with the uncanny valley effect because Dev obviously just got lazy to do work on the same level as she did in the past, for the same reason replacing animated scenes with static pics and the most cringe-shaking effect to imitate "movement", story in general is a soyboy wet dream with the most delusional characters and lame childish drama all around for the sake of even more drama. And on top of it sits Dev, who openly insulted users who were fairly criticizing rework of her game, calling them pathetic wankers who know nothing, and all her obviously poor/bad decisions are great, and all who say otherwise are just dumb haters, etc. Add here her lies about using AI only for renderings, when some fellow users found out that even code was written by AI at least partly.
But hey, the game was made by OH MY GOSH, a real woman with boobs and vaginaAnd by looks that's enough for some people to accept as it is this game and dev who despise you (player) for playing adult games)

people seem to have forgot the dev threw a temper tantrum when people crticized the ai garbage and insulted her own patreons. she also lied about using ai initially and said characters having more than 5 fingers was a "daz glitch". this whole thing is a mess. what is the point of ditching ai now if you the other half of the game still has that shit. i guarantee no one that cares about normal renders will subdue themselves to the torture that is looking at ai generated slop. if you want to get those people back i highly doubt they would come back even if you did a whole remake considering they got tricked once already.Well, quite a big part of F95 users were never famous for having good taste and standards

The game already has incest hidden, it just needs a file to activate it, the patches all have the same code to activate said content.
I had no idea she blew a gasket, was it here in the threads or discord?
Haven’t played yet but is the ai render that bad? If it means the dev can focus on the story and manually doing the sexy time scenes and faster updates I say go for it.

Here you go, found it. Not that it was hard to find) Include in this main post a lot of other aggressively defensive messages in Dev's Discord when people complained about downgrades of using AI and unnecessary remake of the game.
Her answer to the wave of honest criticism, including her own patrons, with a lot of obvious examples of really bad AI renders with weird skin, fingers, body shapes, eyes, etc. It was written 8 months ago.
Imagine supporting Dev and continuing to play her game after treating her own fan base like trash losers because of well-deserved and civil criticism (no one insulted or called her names). It's obvious that Dev herself is dishonest, immature, and unnecessarily aggressive/dramatic as characters in her own game

It was made only to spend less time on the game by "reworking" existing content, but the story is still a lame mess with cheap drama for estrogen consumers and even sex scenes where AI was used, all butchered and left without animations but with cringe shake effects to imitate fucking, kek)
I say don't go for it, for every respectable Dev with principles)

Once, on another resource, i came across a very apt phrase about the developer "Ocean": "When a cat has nothing to do, he licks balls. When "Ocean" has nothing to do, he remakes the previous parts."
This author clearly suffers from the same. Even in a more advanced stage.
Why fix what is not broken? Instead of calmly continuing to move the story forward, the creator senselessly and mercilessly remakes what was already great before.
If you want to try something, change the style - well, do it in the next project. Or make a special episode timed to something (New Year, Halloween, etc.).
Or, if you have firmly decided that from now on you will do it in a different style - well, continue releasing it like this. (In the game, let the main character get hit on the head so that his vision blurs, his perception of the world changes. Now, look, he lives like this.) The main thing is to continue making NEW content - why the fuck cut and change the old one. Why ruin something that was great. I will never understand this.

Trust me, the first two chapters needed rework bad. If you haven't play both VN's in their first releases .. oh lord, that was something. Needed rework, after that, all good. But Hard To Love didn't even needed a rework at all. If story bothers the creator, ok, redo some parts that's it, not go on full AI skin bs that this VN has become at the moment.

Sadly too many devs are pulling this shit now. Why do a rework on your game, while it’s halfway done, save that for when it’s finished. It’s very frustrating to play some games and put in a lot of hours only for the dev to start a rework and all your saves are trash now cause you have to startover. I’m mostly talking about the godson game, but there are many other devs doing this too
Well... another update where the dev keeps adding things that are frustrating. I like the story, I really don't have a problem with the dark theme or so.. but the supposedly animations? what are these non-consecutive, not animated stills with dialogue between supposedly animation frames.. .. also about the writing, at some point you need to play the game straight forward without missing 60% of the content or choose what content to view and not to
