There will be no new updates according to patreon post. He moved from unity to browser game that can't be played offline.still waiting for new update
I'm interested in feedback on this. My reasons for moving to browser weren't related to online/offline play, they were:There will be no new updates according to patreon post. He moved from unity to browser game that can't be played offline.
You must be registered to see the links
So it seems that only that version will be worked on.
I think that you should do what you have more confidence in, but not having offline mode is bad thing.I'm interested in feedback on this. My reasons for moving to browser weren't related to online/offline play, they were:
1. Unity development is much slower than browser development (based on my skills)
2. I was getting a lot of requests for MacOS/android support. Yes, unity supports cross platform, but it broke the modding system because the game mods include code.
3. Originally, modding the game required Windows, Unity, and Visual Studio. Now it just requires a browser.
I understand some people really want to play this offline, and that is still be possible but not a high priority right now. Anyway, I just wanted to share some context on why I did this.
Well this is my opinion: I cannot even play it in the browser, because I'm playing it in incognito. I don't like to have in my google history an url named "Harem dungeon" or in my autocomplete bar and I don't want to be cleaning my history, cache and blabla every time I play, then I think that people like me won't play it in a browser if you cannot play it in incognito.I'm interested in feedback on this. thanks for share. I haven't implemented the ability to save/load games yet, but when I do, you'll be able to download the game file, and you can upload it to the browser to load. This should work if you want to keep playing in incognito. However, logging in every time will be annoying; for that I recommend adding a separate browser identity. Most browsers support this pretty well now, and it won't pollute the history of your main browser/account.Well this is my opinion: I cannot even play it in the browser, because I'm playing it in incognito. Besides I don't know how big are your aspirations for this game, but if you need to save progress for a better experience, then browser is not good idea, you know, there are people that clean history, cache and blabla evey N time, people that for X or Y reason need to clean their browser/google account and people like me that don't like to have porn games showing in URLs or google autocomplete.
Why do you prefer a browser? because JS?
No, the textures aren't loading properly. Are you getting that consistently? Is this supposed to be the experience if you don't make an account?
Yes, tried it three times using Firefox. No, the textures aren't loading properly. Are you getting that consistently?
