I remember reading a short comic about a girl who the PoV character said she had pretty eyes, so she gave him one of them. She didn't come across as being a danger to anyone other than herself, but I'd indisputably call her a yandere. I believe the literal translation of 'yandere' is 'sick love'.

I was kinda wondering how everyone else would feel if the MC decided to go full blown revenge mode on the Elf queen. Thought they would hate him for but. But the more I think about it, the more I think they would be unbothered...Assuming the queen helping us somehow is no longer a viable option which it's probably not at this point.
We shouldn't go scorched earth on ALL the high elves though. Most of em probably don't know whats really happening. can't fault em for that too much.
I know he's said that before. Its a really wierd stance though. You are at the center of every girls life but you aren't important. It bugs me.
In my mind, I usually compare him to a psychiatrist or counselor of some variety. He's important to them and, in some cases, even helps them come to terms with where/how/what they are in life, but if they had gone to a different psychiatrist, the result would probably be the same. They like/love him but they don't need *him* specifically, he's just the one they happened to run into at the time, if that makes sense.
It does but it doesn't at the same time. I understand that the MC is basically a therapist but I wouldn't be that dismissive of the whole picture. Hes setting the stage and playing a role.

I would figure it would depend on how he did it. If he locked her up (for fun) while freeing the other elves and fairies, they probably would not hold it against him, she is little better than the humans they hate so much, and like Ankhtar said, it is unlikely to be entirely his idea anyway.
It is not as if anyone is saying that he is unimportant, it is just that he is a 'blank slate', personality wise, so that you as the player can imprint more of your own ideas of what he should be onto him.

I'm actually glad you said that because Runey said he doesn't want the MC to be a blank slate about a week ago. But he comes off as one so easily...a blank charecter is good for making the player feel involved. But at the same time having the charecter be too passive gives the sense that you aren't involved enough. Its a hard thing to balance.
It's also possible that he's some sort of chessmaster kind of character who's pulling everyone's strings behind the scenes while on the surface appearing like he doesn't give a damn about much of anything other than boobs and wetting his dong. The way he's portrayed in game makes it easy to assume that his role in the story can be just about anything depending on who's behind the screen.
Lin holding the elf queen at gunpoint with a massive assault rifle and a red headband may or may not be one of the things I secretly want to see.
