Unfortunate, i can't be arsed playing through the whole game again because the start of it pales in comparison in every regard to the quality it ends up being, and i feel like i can't access these "new" scenes now. I do realise this is just my niche problem, tho.
i think he wants to see the revamped beginning events but does not want to start over.

Never enough hours in the day when making things. Runey has the right idea taking time off each update, but I need to get at least one or two out before I can do that. lol
Runey had recommended starting a new game when v0.10 came out to check out the revamped scenes, and I think those scenes are a definite improvement over the original versions. Of course, your decision to not restart the game is completely up to you, but it may be something to consider while we wait for the next update.
You're right that anyone can answer the question. The problem comes from people asking and answering the same question over and over again, sometimes multiple times within a couple of pages or even on the same page. The effect isn't much different than a kid's "Are we there yet?" question can have on a parent during a road trip, and I'll admit that some of us aren't as patient as others.
Your best source for when the next update might come out is Runey because most of us have no clue beyond what Runey posts beyond the experience of knowing that updates are a bit more than just one month apart. Your best option is to simply go to the Search function and just type Runey's name in the "by" section, and that will usually bring up something. (Runey just posted an update a few posts back, if you want to check it out.)
