But again, she would be submitting to a known elf slave, not a good look on the pro-slavery side, even as the owner of the elf slave in question, owners and humans are supposed to be on top. I also never said it would be long term abuse, which is what Maria would have suffered had Ellen not been on the ball in the aftermath of the DNA test. I am not an expert in torture, but death by a thousand cuts, and I do mean literally a thousand, can actually go by fairly quickly if the victim's body can't take the full thousand before succumbing.

Unfortunately, she became a slave within the system and I doubt her lack of obvious elven features will save her. The only thing keeping her from a terrible fate is that Ellen got to her first, so she's technically been claimed. With a system like this, they have got to be registered in order to keep track of slave vs non-slave elves, the latter being ones who don't hit the minimum level of DNA, and what slave elves are owned. They probably have her information in a database somewhere considering they seized her assets and that database probably has images of each elf for identification purposes.

Which is why I say death by a thousand cuts instead of making them submit to Maria maybe once. They deserve something equal or greater than the suffering Maria went through.

It isn't okay and I'm not justifying it as such, revenge never is okay. What I said here was that the MC should do it so Maria doesn't have to dirty her hands and possibly traumatize herself in the process if the task proves too much for her after she has gone through with it. The absolute last thing I want to do is break the poor girl, but the other two are a completely different story. I would love to do way worse on those two. I also specifically said that she should still be the one to do it if she actually asks to, I specifically left open the possibility that she could do it herself if she shows desire to do so. If not, she should not be made to do it, but those two can't get off with nothing.

I didn't say she didn't ask, I said if she doesn't ask to carry out the sentence I proposed, death by a thousand cuts making sure to keep each alive and conscious as long as possible, then she should not be made to do it. If she asks, she gets to do it, no questions asked, as she is the most deserving of anyone in the hotel to carry it out. However, if she proves unwilling to carry out this revenge, then she should not have to and another should take her place, the MC being the next most deserving candidate since he was right there when she was enslaved.

I absolutely agree with that last part, any who are willing should be able to come in and carry out their share of the cuts themselves, any who are not should have theirs carried out by a willing proxy, but under absolutely no circumstances should it be either the elf in question does it or those cuts get skipped. ALL cuts should be carried out even if a human or non-abused elf proxy has to do it in their stead. It would be kind of scummy, but the MC could even charge a fee for each elf to carry it out themselves and/or for spectators of any race to watch, that might make a nice bit of money.

Nice, that got a bit of a laugh out of me, I wasn't expecting that.

1. No, Runey would have to do this and that gets tedious real fast.
2. You can't until Runey adds it IF he does.

This game has no customization as far as character appearance, not counting the android scenes with her modules, I mean things you can decide outside of temporary scene changes.

Or to get the character cards and plug those into the corresponding Illusion character editor, which is not doable when Runey doesn't give out the cards. This method would not take as long, but again, no cards to do it with, you would have to create new ones based on in game images from Harem Hotel.

Not even, at the lengths of time image editing can take, it would be a near certainty.

A very good skill to have, you could even put that on a resume, just don't say you learned it editing a porn game, I can already see the either shocked or disappointed face of the person doing the interview.

Hey, some of those are pretty good, like this one and Lessons in Love. :p

*gasp* You monster, that's too lewd for these poor girls. :p

I'm not afraid to admit it, either. :p

Nothing wrong with that.

Indeed
Known to her, yes, but not publicly. Most people would have no idea. Without the ears or the collar, no one would have any reason to question it.

Legally speaking, she is a half elf, but no one is going to know that, unless they look at her papers. If the bitch doesn't shout about it as they are going, then no one would be the wiser.

Who says you can't do both? I am just thought it was a fun idea. It's a meme after all. I just think Maria should get to do whatever she wants first, before anyone does anything. hehe

Glad you enjoyed it. ;)

It would be a good twist if that nurse who did the DNA tests had hers done and turned out to be more elf than Maria was, and the nurse was purchased and given to Maria.
When Lin and the bot rule the world, she could be set free.

As I said, she was enslaved, which I am sure means she's registered in some government system where she can be identified in case, for example, she somehow escapes her current owner. This system would mean she can be identified as an enslaved elf without looking at her physical appearance.

The papers are what I am referring to, they may be available publicly and I don't think people like the nurse and especially Cornwall would be willing to risk being found out if these papers are accessible.

It would be a fun idea, but we would have to force them into it if they choose not to risk the above and that would make us no better than them. I'd say get the revenge over with, a thousand cuts per elf they each wronged, obviously not combined on both, just each getting the ones they individually earned. For added effect, make whoever goes second watch the first.

Ah yes, karma, that would indeed be brilliant. Then a fate worse than death by a thousand cuts awaits, even death alone will not save her in that case.

Yes, IF someone checks, but no one is going to run her ID by just walking down the street, most people in the world do not have the ability to do so, even if they want to. Just seeing someone on the street, no one is going to know what she is, otherwise she would have been busted already. How often does someone just run your papers because you are outside?

Even if they are available to the public, no one is going to look, just because they see her. They don't just randomly check people like that. No one would have any reason to check, unless you give them that reason.

You are okay with torturing them to death, but you have a problem with making them go for a naked walk? I just don't get this?

I have no interest in hurting anyone, or killing them, but humiliating them, far worse than they did to anyone else, I think is good. Show them what it is like, you can't learn anything if you are dead.

Are you so sure? In real life legal slavery, I mean back when it was legal, there were people whose job was specifically to hunt down runaways and given the position of the slaves in game, I wouldn't exclude the possibility of runaways being a thing in Syl'anar as well, which means there are possibly people who not only could, but that have to run IDs. Then there's the fact that enslavement eligible elves don't necessarily look the part, such as Maria, who looks human except her eyes, even her skin tone isn't a giveaway. That alone would make the pro-slavery bunch wary that there could be enslavement eligible elves among them without even knowing, so this would then extend to checking for them for security purposes, especially with rogue elements like Nia.

I don't have a problem with having them walked naked like animals, but it would not make sense for them to willingly submit to it and what I do have a problem with is stooping to their level. Forcing them into the act would be stooping to their level, which is why I would be against it.

Unfortunately for those two, I've gone full Nia at this point. The thousand cuts thing is entirely driven by revenge for Maria's treatment and that of almost an entire race of people. I would make it quick, but they've hurt way too many elves for that to be possible, the sheer volume of elves would be their demise, at least most likely, they might survive.

Normally, I have no interest in hurting others without cause or unless the game is specifically based around hurting people, such as rape content, and I don't have this ability to do so in real life except in self defense, but they've gone too far. I don't think these two have the capacity to learn this lesson, they are too far gone. Others might have such capacity, but the nurse especially almost seemed like she was enjoying it and Cornwall doesn't care as long as his position isn't threatened, which we cannot do with what we have except to threaten his life in the process.

Hey, maybe if they're lucky, they'll either pass out or run out of elves they've wronged while still alive. Maybe the trauma of the experience will be enough to drive into their thick skulls the lesson they seem to be unable to learn normally. It is a long shot, but just maybe it will change them for the better assuming they survive. Either that or it will break them completely, still eliminating the threat they pose without them dying.

In games, I go eye for an eye, no exceptions, not even games where I have come to actually care about the characters as if they were real, like the girls at the hotel in this case. They essentially stripped Maria of her life by enslaving her and seizing her assets, leaving her unable to survive without the MC being generous and kind enough to help her for nothing in return, so my idea is to strip them of theirs, but they aren't enslavement eligible currently and we would have to force a test on them to put them through the exact same thing as Maria. The next best thing is literally stripping them of life.

Not my first choice, but I'm not seeing an equivalent alternative as most things already mentioned are too light to be equivalent to what Maria went through not to mention the others.

I wouldn't make it quick, I would show them what it is like to be a slave, teach them some humiliation, and how it feels to be powerless.

In games, like in the real world, I generally try to go for a better future, and education is the usually the best way for that. I mean, sure, there are some games where you don't have a choice, or you do a 'kill all' run, but for my main run, I try to redeem everyone I can.

Also even for the police they need to know how they look like before they can do anything at all. And for half elves with clipped ears they look like anyone other with elven blood in it and thus can't be distinguished from the "normal" folks if they don't wear their collar.
I doubt ever police officer would know about ever half elves in their system. They would only shows the the runaways and dangerous one for normal if they don't do an area sweep.

Yes, face recognition. Sure, it can work, but has a lot of flaws and need a camera. As I didn't see cameras around the only ones that could do that would be the police bots.
Yet they don't care if your half elf is on pet play with a human if this is all right in the eyes of the law.

Also simple solution to this bitchy nurse why on walk with Maria put a gag in her mouth.

And I'm with TheDevian here, as I usual follow a good path in games and not one for revenge or so.

If I'm not wrong, then the only elf we know she've "wrong" is Maria. Also for the official law she've done nothing wrong, but regardless, Maria is the only one we know. So even though for sure she won't be a sage, she could just recently acquired this job and Maria was her first victim...

Of course, it also depends on how much I like the story. Fallout 4 for example, I went on a killing spree pretty quickly. Never did care enough to finish the main story, figured out all of their little twists before the intro was done.

While that is possible, I am guessing that she has had that job for a while. But this is all based on circumstantial evidence, so like you said, it could go either way. Hard to say for sure.

While her attitude showed that she was in command, she also could have been overcompensating.

I got the feeling it was a 'this is how the system works' thing and not necessarily an evil sadistic nurse. We have to remember Maria's been free all her life, I don't see her go 'oh I'm half elf? Oki, what do I do now?'

Kudos to Runey again, I've gone through more emotions in this story than any other game. That nurse pissed me off though.

I know I have asked before how to trigger Kali wearing a maid outfit a second time. Though I have been trying and checking Kali/Lin rooms repeatedly at all times of each day for a few in games weeks with nothing to show from it. Is there a way the story may have been locked up by an accidental choice? Or should I just keep trying?

Iirc the 2nd Kali maid event is when she 'punishes' Lin for reckless popcorning, definitely not weeks from the first but it might be linked to another event.

I wonder how you performed the conversion? What steps and/or tools you use?

I mean, in Runey's itch.io, I'm told to (1) grab the PC version, and (2) use "Joiplay" app + Ren'Py plugin.

But you made the game into an 'all-in-one' apk ...

The reason I'm asking is because I have some other Ren'Py games that I want to play on my Android phone, so if I can turn them into an apk as well, it would be swell..

Not what I'm saying, what I said is that there probably are, which raises demand for people who would hunt them down for return to the owner. These hunters would have to check ID for the person they are hunting.

It's also nothing compared to actual slavery, forcing embarrassment is too light to be equivalent.

I would, but that isn't an option, too many elves to give a chance to avenge themselves for it to be quick.

These two I can't see being educated by anything short of their lives flashing before their eyes, which means going at them intending for them to die even if they manage to survive the encounter. Like I said, that nurse seemed to enjoy what she was doing and that means she would actively resist any attempt to change how she feels about it. Cornwall I can't say for sure, but given his politician career, I would say he would prioritize views that would keep him in office, which directly conflict with the lesson we want them to learn.

If all else fails and they prove entirely incapable of learning this lesson, there's always the original intent, which would then take them out of the picture and nullify any threat they pose whether they survive as nothing but a shell or they don't survive at all. It's killing two birds with one stone, the elves get revenge and the two of them get taken out or learn their lesson.

Also even for the police they need to know how they look like before they can do anything at all. And for half elves with clipped ears they look like anyone other with elven blood in it and thus can't be distinguished from the "normal" folks if they don't wear their collar.

Exactly, and that means maintaining a record of the person.

I'm not normally one for revenge, either, but this game and one other have me looking at them different than any other game.

That's the thing, there's no way she hasn't done this before, otherwise she wouldn't have enjoyed it so much with Maria. As for the law, that's another issue, they've done nothing wrong by the law, but the law itself is wrong, so they HAVE done something wrong.

Of course, it also depends on how much I like the story. Fallout 4 for example, I went on a killing spree pretty quickly. Never did care enough to finish the main story, figured out all of their little twists before the intro was done.

They do what is called 'crunching.' This means reducing file sizes as much as possible through changing image file types and codecs and other methods. However, things don't always go as intended with some cases being buggy and rarely buggy enough to be considered unplayable, though I haven't seen one from anyone here get that bad. The bigger the game, the more they have to do and the higher the chance of issues. This, along with not wanting visual quality to drop too far, is why Runey is not offering an Android version anymore, the game just got too big and eventually it will get too big for these methods the unofficial porters are using to make a difference.

Right, but for that to factor in, someone would have to be looking for her, or someone who looks like her. We are never going to report her as a runaway, even if she did, so that isn't really an issue.

That is my point, this started because you said that Maria doing this, would make her just as bad as the nurse and the others. Now you are talking about torturing and killing the woman. First you say it goes to far, and now you say it is not far enough.

Well, then they will be in the reeducation system for a loooong time.

Again, that is my point, they will stay there until they learn.

And this is no more the same as enslaving them as it is to put someone in jail for committing any other horrific crime and making them work there. Which, is a far greater deterrent than the death penalty.

I have a ton of ours in there ...mostly just building though. The story is worse than crap, and they shit all over the established lore, even their own.

Probably, but she could just be a bitch/Karen. ;p

Yes, but an eye for an eye just makes the whole world blind.

While killing them is quicker and easier, it can have other unforeseen effects, such as maybe leaving her kids out for revenge, or whatever. While sometimes there might not be much choice, when I can, I try to go the path of education.

While killing them is quicker and easier, it can have other unforeseen effects, such as maybe leaving her kids out for revenge, or whatever. While sometimes there might not be much choice, when I can, I try to go the path of education.
For a hunter to be hunting her, yes, but that same database they would pull from means that anyone could know what she looks like and Cornwall or the nurse are pretty much ruined if caught submitting.

Yes, having Maria force a free citizen of Syl'anar makes her no better than the people that forced her into slavery. When I said things were going too far, that, I believe, was directly after the Maria enslavement, when I hadn't made the realization that the nurse was enjoying it instead of just doing it because it was her job. Now I say it is not enough to force them to submit to Maria because that's not all these two did to Maria.

They essentially took her life away. If the MC hadn't already been housing her, she would be as good as dead until she actually was dead. They took her money, so she has no way to pay for housing, food, anything she needs to survive. That's a death sentence and a MUCH slower one than I proposed. Death by a thousand cuts can happen within a day, the human body, and she is part human, can go without food for at least a week, but not without the person suffering from it. By taking away her means to survive, they sentenced her to a slow and excruciatingly painful death, the only thing that stopped this death was the MC being there for her.

It doesn't matter how long they go into reeducation, if they can't learn the lesson, if they are incapable, it will never be learned and that is money wasted on attempting it. This one I agree with not being the same as enslaving, unfortunately for them meaning it is too light a punishment to a much greater degree.

Same on Fallout 4, I spend most of my time building up insane defenses at settlements because I need them to be able to fend for themselves while I go about doing other things. I have an unfortunate tendency to be out in the middle of nowhere when someone gets attacked and then I have to fast travel to that place and help defend and repair defenses. I ended up modding the attacks off and giving myself some pretty good buildings to keep all the stats high.

I could see the karen thing and it would be hilarious if she was.

Unfortunately, the world, or at least Syl'anar, already is blind to a large degree, that's how people like Cornwall got into positions of power in the first place. Rule number one about politicians, ALWAYS do extensive research to see who they really are. A large number of people, even in the real world, don't and it can have disastrous results.

If the kids come for the MC, it's self defense, they are now fair game, even if it is revenge taken for revenge received. I would sick Nia, Ashley, or Lin on them faster than they can say oops, better yet all three. I wouldn't let the kids die, they only sought revenge, but they wouldn't get off with nothing.

Yeah, if anyone who cares sees them. Most people are not going to be thinking, 'there is that nurse who enslaved a half elf', they are just going to see two kinky women, and either be turned on or turn away.

Yeah, I just don't see them as equal, one is punishment for a crime against humanity, the other is a crime against humanity.

That is supposed to last a lot longer, but still, that is not the way I like to do things.

If they have no empathy. if they are true sociopaths, and while that might be true for the nurse, we don't know, I doubt Cornwall is at all, he is just slow to evolve on the issue, because his power comes from the system that is the problem, but he has been shown to be willing to find a better way.

More than defense, I just like making things, like a maze, a tree city,

Depends on how you look at it, the same could could be said for anywhere that has/uses slaves, but the facts are the things are starting to improve in major ways, they are just not fast enough for most of our tastes. Odds are, that is end game stuff, so we can't rush it, and besides, just killing people is not going to win anyone over, it's just going to get you labeled a fugitive. Just look at the last 3 revolutions.

You can attract more flies with honey than with vinegar.

You are just going to start a war you can't win yet. They tried war, several times, it's not the right way.

The "crunching" part -- i.e., reduction of graphics / audio / etc. size -- I understand and I can carry out acceptably.

It's the "bundling" part -- i.e., converting from multiple files + directory structure + 3rd-party player + 3pp's plugin ==> into one nice all-in-one .apk -- that I don't understand.

Iirc the 2nd Kali maid event is when she 'punishes' Lin for reckless popcorning, definitely not weeks from the first but it might be linked to another event.
What other event or stats would it be linked to?
I have: Lin at Friendship 28
Kali at F13
Ashley at F41
Maria at F30
Alice at F30
Felicity & Emma complete
Autumn at F22
With most of their stats all being at or above 10 in most things

That's the thing, if the nurse and Cornwall are smart, they won't even chance that happening.

I see them as equal because both are forcing the person to do something against their will. This is another reason why my alternative is meant to be carried out by the MC unless Maria or the other elves ask to do it themselves.

How long death by a thousand cuts lasts depends on how strong a person's will to live is. If they have a weak will, they won't even reach a thousand from one elf let alone every single elf they've wronged. Death by starvation doesn't depend on how strong a person's will to live is, they will last as long as the body can keep functioning without food and it will not be pleasant for them. I typically don't like to do things this way, either, but it does come up on rare occasions where someone did something this severe.

Cornwall doesn't evolve because his power comes from those people who want him to treat the elves this way, the pro-slave majority, he won't find a better way as long as the pro-slave majority exists as it does now. I will admit the nurse is a whole new level of lower than dirt human, though.

Same, I do like the building system, I just end up using it for practical purposes, or at least I did before my copy got modded.

The purpose in this case isn't to win anyone over, the purpose is to exact revenge. The political campaign and other things from previous discussion topics are meant to win people over.

A few kids, even kids as in offspring, starting a war with the MC? As hilarious as that would be, I just don't see that happening. First of all, it would be like bringing a pistol to a tank fight. Second, they don't have the means to raise an army and I doubt they could get people on their side by themselves. It would be a handful of them vs us and some of us are capable fighters already. Like I said, just sick Lin, Ashley, and Nia on them and they won't last long. Never, and I mean NEVER piss off Lin or Ashley by endangering the MC, that's pretty much a guarantee to be hunted down to the ends of the Earth, and Nia would join us due to the opposition being against her views on slavery of her people while we support those views.

I'm not exactly an Android expert, only a user and not for games that are originally meant for Windows and other desktop OSes.
