- "Double Date" with Emma and Felicity, take them both to the beach or to the cafe or whatever. Same option for Lin + Jin and Kali + Lucia.
I'm definitely for being able to double date Emma and Felicity in general, but one of the things that's always bothered me is when they're in the lobby and you can only ask one of them what she wants to do. Maybe if there were some activities added where they're both involved, something like this could be done?

Watch TV is the only one that allows both. I agree more would be good

Man, I think the last time I played this none of the 2nd floor girls were in yet or something. Android is definitely new bestgirl, even down to the fact that she looks like someone just hit "Random" on Honey Select for about three minutes then shrugged.

HH is still definitely one of the best Western-developed porn games out there right now, but the writing inconsistency kinda' bothers me. Did we change authors at some point? Newer scenes read like they're from a completely different writer sometimes. For all of the early game/1st floor scenes, the game is almost 100% from the player's perspective and that's it. Then in later scenes and the 2nd floor girls, you're constantly getting scenes where the player isn't present at all, like to the point where he's not just listening in but it's actually impossible for you to be there at all and we've just switched perspectives entirely.

Also it's really easy to run into some jarring personality differences when you advance character plots at different rates - the clones are both at "In Love" status with me and I've fucked them both, yet they keep popping up in other character's scenes calling me a creep, wanting nothing to do with me, and being huge bitches to everyone still. Android goes from being kinda' awkward and derpy but improving in one scene, to the next one being super clever and making jokes about the clones intelligence, to the next scene having her going full social retard and having no idea how to talk to people again. I realize in a game like this where you give the player complete freedom to approach the stories that's kinda' unavoidable, but it's really distracting sometimes.

I've always been the game's only dev.

A character's appearance is always meant to reflect their personality and story. The reason Android has white hair is because she doesn't produce melanin. She wears a mask because she treats her mouth as her pussy or breasts, an erogenous zone. She's a sex bot, so it actually is meant to be a sex hole. All characters are like this, if you've played through Ashley's story completely, you'll see a reason for nearly every part of her character.

Around v0.2/v0.3 I did change writing styles. I went from "Porn with Story" to "Story with Porn", and that's been received very well. What that means is, "Porn with Story" is just a porn you cram story into. Think about those shitty stories on pornhub. "Story with Porn" is very much like Game of Thrones (Not to compare myself). Jon Snow doesn't need to be there to experience Tyrion's wine and sex. One reason this can be done so well is because there is no main character in GoT. You're you, and you watch the story unfold, and see the characters change.

(I know I say Main Character to define who you play as in Harem Hotel, but I don't consider him to be the Main Character, I consider all the girls to be the Main Characters)

Lin and Kali would never have bonded on Kali's bed if the MC were there. They just wouldn't have admitted it.

Besides that, if all events were from MC's perspective only, the game would just end up being "Let's watch TV". If I set up the story like a game of chess, you get to see it unfold.

The thing with the Twins, I've very rarely heard of where it happens. Just that it does. I can never fix the problem without knowing where it is. The Twins shouldn't be saying you're a creep in Ashley's story line when you've got the In Love trait or a high friendship level.

Android goes from being kinda' awkward and derpy but improving in one scene, to the next one being super clever and making jokes about the clones intelligence, to the next scene having her going full social retard and having no idea how to talk to people again.
I'm not quite sure what you mean here, or which events you're talking about.

Hey, dev response, cool. The perspective change makes sense for the stories you're trying to tell, it's just a bit jarring is all. And I'm not knockin' Android's appearance, I know it all has context and I appreciate that she looks so alien compared to everyone else.

I think it's just an unfortunate order I saw certain scenes in. Basically, in her first scene or two where you're introducing her to everyone she's kinda' shy and socially awkward, but she's gradually warming to you and some of her "features". Then right after that when she meets the clones she makes a snarky quip about how one of them may not qualify as sapient life or something like that and is just in general the "I don't have time for this shit" straightman in the scene when normally she's the butt of the comedy. Then she plays along with Ellen to convince Autumn to blow you and seems to have a good understanding of sarcasm and trickery, but then the very next scene I got with her was having a cooking competition with Lin where she's back to doing everything with mathematical coldness and seemingly not understanding tact or jealousy.

None of the scenes are bad (the Autumn one in particular is hilarious), it just seems like I saw them out of order or something, if that makes sense? Like I'm jumping to different points in a timeline where she's more or less comfortable with the other guests and who she is. Like I said, due to the open-ended nature of the game allowing you to pursue whoever you wish to pursue, some degree of that is always gonna be there.

Regardless, thanks for the game and keep it up! HH is one of the few games I actually actively keep up with now.

Oh that's odd. I'm not sure how you managed to beat Autumn's story without doing any of Androids. That Kitchen event is Android's second event in the game. Of course you can, but that's very rare to do.

I dunno, haha. I think maybe 'cuz I had basically everyone's storylines as far as they could possibly go before adding the second floor, then just didn't really visit the kitchen and was beelining Autumn's stuff. Probably not something most players run into!

After playing so many honey select based visual novels I believe this one beats all the others. The writing and character development are so in depth for a porn game in comparison to all the rest that is brain dead convo and fuck with minimal development. Also the fact that are so many renders that go hand-in-hand with the writing to give an almost complete motion to text feel is amazing. The whole Ashley story has been so far so well written, I can't believe a porn game backstory actually made me to connect with a character and make me feel for them. Other VN games just don't get the writing good enough to make you connect to that level with a bad background, but this one is right on the spot. I can't wait for 0.7 , keep the good work, so far it's a gem! This game deserves all the funding it can get. After having lost faith in so many developers who abandoned their projects and leaving with all the donation money and never heard of them again I have refrained myself from spending money on uncompleted projects but perhaps I can make an exception with this one. I believe in @Runey for the completition of this game :D And who knows, maybe a sequel? ;) Thx for your amazing work!
