VN Ren'Py Harem Hotel [v0.17.2] [Runey]

I'm not saying it won't happen or anything, but I can't help noticing everyone is assuming Daddy Goldrocks is going to kick the bucket. He might just retire you know. Plus, you know...that whole "It's just a fleshwound!" thing is mighty suspicious considering how vulnerable he was. Even a complete amateur should have no trouble landing a fatal shot in that situation, which suggests it was either a warning, or, and bear with me here, something HE set up in order to give Kali a push to take over the company, and possibly do some internal cleanup in his uh... "organization" as a test of loyalty or something. Just throwing that out there.

I don't see him retiring until either Kali or 'we' are ready to take over, and she really doesn't seem to want it. More than just her usual pretending for attention either. Of course, this is why I assume we will be the ones running things, she is our sub after all.

The general idea, if he is making it obvious, is that someone his new wife works with did it as a warning to him, the alternative being a warning from the people who hate elves, and he is clearly part of the group trying to humanize them...

I agree with that Lin should only try tgo be Lin. She is is perfect. She doesn't need to change. But I also think that Lin deserves promotion. And now, when there is android and three more elves, they can be the hotel maids and Lin can be the hotel headmaid, be in charge of all the maids. Also, MC should get more maids.

I definitely like the idea of getting more maids (or make the other girls work more?) and have Lin be promoted as their boss. I think it'd be a lot of fun seeing her trying to be a boss but still be "Lin" at the same time.

I am stuck at lin's story after the event when she dye her hair blonde. Can someone help and tell me from where to start her next event or is there any requirement to do before the event.

I honestly do not remember this event at all. Have I just forgotten it or was it added in 0.7 and I just haven't seen it yet?

Yeah and the default for them is "Master" though I make them call me "Laser Daddy" because nothing is more rad than having an elf and a sexy gynoid call you "Laser Daddy"

I felt the same as you can read in the original post I'm linking here:

It was shortly after the first visit from the high elf, she wanted to look/be more like her, until you assured her that you like her better the way she was. Lin should only try to be Lin. You might need to visit her in one of the odd rooms, like the kitchen, hot spring, or the laundry room, something like that. Can't remember exactly when that event was, so I can't check, sorry.

You've forgotten it. It's a scene in Lin's room. It happens after Lin is accosted in the lobby by the noble elf. She briefly dyes her hair blondish (she got the dye from one of the girls) because she thought the noble elf was beautiful and her dark hair and eyes were signs of poor breeding/status.

Just thought I'd share some news with what's happening with v0.8.

I'm 75% of the way through fleshing out all of the story events coming. Typically I would write down my idea for a new event and start developing it, but this time around I decided to mostly fully write out the update before I begin developing it. In v0.7, I was only able to make ideas for half of the events. The other half was made on the spot. (this was due to the ashley remake needing to come out first). That caused a lot of stress as writing story as I'm developing it in renpy/HS is a pain and pretty stressful.

New teasers look interesting, but I must confess that I'm just as happy to see someone say "fleshing out" as opposed to "flushing out". That and the one squeaky gate sound effect used in EVERYTHING are my two biggest pet peeves.

Eager to see Lin branching out and being more comfortable. She is very cute in that tiny crown.

New characters are showing up all the time, but main characters are a huge undertaking. I don't want to skip giving a main character any story, so this means I can't spread myself too thin. New main characters are likely to happen once some of the current cast's stories are done.

Side characters let me make fun concepts and not be stuck to giving them content every update. The new elf shown is a bit of a Cloudcuckoolander.

I'm sure we'll see her naked eventually so I'll get my answer then, but does that tattoo/marking of hers extend up to her neck? Looks like it's being covered by her collar.
