It's how porn games should be. I assume people who are looking for porn games have cock in hand, ready to go. If a game doesn't give you something sexy relatively early on, you're likely going to get annoyed and move on. But people don't play these games for porn alone, there needs to be some fun element, such as story or combat to keep people coming back. After all, why should people play your game when they could just go watch a video or find some hentai?

Yes, this so much. Many porn games focus too much on the "game" part where you have to beat the "game" to get the reward aka sex scene. But then that game better be playable as if there wasn't any sex anyway because when can get an unlimited amount of porn with 2 clicks on the internet I'm not subjecting myself to some mediocre gameplay. There are some games that tie the gameplay decently to the sex progression. Some corruption games are good at this but overall for porn games imho it is better if the sex fits to the story presented because a good story and writing is the thing that you aren't getting in a usual porn flick.

You can have characters that want to have a more stable relationship before any sex happens but then there are also people who fuck on the second date. Having both of those in a game can make for great pacing. You have the horny characters that usually get more kinky as the story progresses and the more sweet and romantic characters where you get the "payoff" later. So you never have a dry spell throughout the game and it actually deserves to be called porn.

Harem Hotel is one of the games that does this really well. And having generally great writing and deep characters elevates it even further.

Seriously, though, I'm probably in the minority in saying that I find generic porn to be somewhat on the boring side. If there's no reason for me to watch it other than for fap material, I get tired of it really quick and move on. One of the reasons why I enjoy HH so much is that I can really get into the story and character development to the point where I almost forget about the fap material, even though that's great, too.

I'm often amazed by the quality that you've put into this game as well as being able to maintain that quality (if not bump it up a notch) with each update. I'd give you a headpat, but I think Lin might get jealous.

I often remake older content anyway, so I don't need to wish ;p
Older scenes have worse image quality and probably less direction. Lin's virginity scene is a good example of an event being remade.

Also just 1 of the reasons I play through again after every new release!.
Honestly tho this game is one of the few on this site that i actually get excited for an update release so...
If anyone has the plans or design specs for a time machine I NEED them.
I dont care about the cost I'll rob Bill Gates if i have to!.
Then I can go to the future and play the completed game!.

I could not disagree more, I like the TV show Young Sheldon, there was an episode where he "meets' some of the greatest scientists of all time, the actor playing Einstin says to Sheldon, "if he had the choice of all knowledge or the endless pursuit of it, he would take the pursuit".

Where is the fun in going right to the end and seeing it all, half the fun is waiting to see what is coming next.

Limshow It looks like your playing V10 so no help to be given!.
You ignored the warnings at your own risk and this is what happens!.
Its the reason I wait and don't play the alphas!.
Your only fix is to roll back to the last stable game version or...
Wait a few more weeks for V10 to be officially released.Then wait 2-3 days for the last bugs to be ironed out!.

Welcome to the Alpha, it will stay broken until you download the next publicly released version, which is planned to be this summer.

I recommend sticking to public versions.

How versions are notated is up to the developer(s). I've seen so many variations over the years that I've come to accept however they are done in a given situation so long as they're consistent.
