I did read it, but it's full of lies so what was the point? The download still stops at 4.99gigs and starts requesting a payment. The google drive link is already dead and this nopy fails between 1-2 gigs after 3 attempts.

I've been using it for years because the Mega browser client wants to buffer the entire file in RAM and can't handle anything bigger than 4GB on some browsers. In particular Firefox tends to choke on big Mega downloads.
You're right that it will do that when you reach the 5-gig mark, but you can just ignore the payment request and wait a couple of hours, and the download should start back up and finish. That's how I did it using MegaSync.
I didn't have any problems with either of the windows download links, so I'm not sure what your issues are.
After a lengthy download and win.rar is still unzipping i'm kinda glad this doesn't get a weekly update. It's just to huge at this point. Also glad I decided to replay seeing how many even that have been redone.
I get 4 download options:
- Nopy gives an error message. (They've been doing that A LOT lately. Probably losing a LOT of customers.)
- I can't get Mixdrop or Pixeldrain to even START downloading.
- Mega tells me that the download is bigger that the allotment for free dl'ing.
... and that's my choices. Too bad- this WAS one of my top 5 favorite games here. But if I can't download the damn update, then what's keeping me interested?

Are you really downloading pirated shit and then complaining about it? If you paid the 5 bucks or w/e for it you'd have an easy link.

Actually, the public releases on Runey's Patreon page are completely free to download there, and most of those links are simply repeated here.
I used to love Nopy, but it's been shitting the bed for me for the past week or two: slow download speeds that always eventually fail after it hits the end of the download. Pixeldrain was a nice alternative, but it is a dead brick for me recently also, not even wanting to start downloads. Megas daily download cap makes it a less than awesome solution if you download more than a few large files a day, let alone something this big.
When a game's download size gets this unwieldy, it would be much appreciated if the dev(s) did updates with a small updater to install the new content, instead of requiring a full download of ever-growing size. The games that do this are few, but it is much appreciated.
Edit: I did see the Patch file linked on the main page, created by a user, along with the "use at your own risk". Still appreciated.
