JGNeon said that it would be safe to possibly play a next update safely even if removing the mod, the save game should be fine. If you remove the mod from the save, do the extra scenes and stuff added by the mod just disappear without any bugs and consequences?

I had to google omorashi to find out what it was.I wish the developer add omorashi scene in this game. It will be the best game for ever
You should not bother holding your breath for it though, because it is unlikely to be added.
18.1 only came out last month, so he probably is still working on writing and planning.

If it breaks before summer 2025 he'll be returning to old release level progress, so hopefully we'll see that at the very least.
