I have this issue too. On Mac, only with HH. I looked up error code 89 and it said "operation cancelled". I think because it takes a long time before it gives this error it gives up somehow, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I was thinking about finding a compressed version but there isn't one here.Macs don't have user-serviceable audio device drivers. Every other application, including RenPy games, works fine. It's just this one that is failing.
There something wrong with the compressed version posted on Aug 31st?I have this issue too. On Mac, only with HH. I looked up error code 89 and it said "operation cancelled". Well, if the full version is too much, either get the compressed one, or don't delete the game and get the update only one each time.yeah but looks like you still need to download all of them. If was just download part three for last 3 updates to patch in sure.
It's likely an issue with the narrative flow caused by a simple oversight. After the scene happens for the first time, you then have a new *talk* prompt when you're in your room. Using this talk prompt starts the event itself. This is great because you can choose when to start it. The only issue is that the "scene" repeat itself every night as long as you don't start the event... and I really don't want to start this event at this point because it doesn't make sense, so I'm stuck with having to watch this scene every night now.So what you're saying is that the new update has content that becomes available at 'x' story progress with the girls, and is more geared towards returning players rather than players playing from the start? As in, a player who has just hit continue from 0.17 won't see it as a problem since these dreams will appear when everyone is at the previous max level, but a new player has to level up the girls so these trigger at odd timings?
That's interesting, and important to know. Haven't done a playthrough in quite some time but I'm curious as to whether this is an issue with the narrative flow caused by the addition of new content, or a simple oversight.
No, It's part of the story line to show the depravity and injustice inflicted on the Elvin population. Is there any way to prevent the runaway elf you find early on in the slums from getting murdered?
On the mod, i understand the inclination to use them. Mods are often very helpful for games to not miss content.
In this particular game it’s barely useful.
Nothing, I just didn't see it. It's not edited into the first post as yet. But thanks for letting me know, as it seems to have fixed my problem. There something wrong with the compressed version posted on Aug 31st?
Apparently we're not allowed to link those on the front page unless they come from the author directly or some junk.Nothing, I just didn't see it. It's not edited into the first post as yet. But thanks for letting me know, as it seems to have fixed my problem.
Sploooogerrific - try the compressed version.

Then you will need to load a save from before you started playing the beta version.ah yeah I might be
Now the question is...BTW now that the update had some time in the world who expected Punished Jia to make an appearance?
