So her useless Da is 12.5% dark elf... and she is so petite because she was basically starved? cuz her mom's got MILF curves.shley is about 6% Dark Elf (You can see it in her eye color),

Ashley's mom would be 12.5% dark Elf, she has Purple eyes. (I put absolutely no effort into Ashley's Mom. I just hoped people forgot about her.)So her useless Da is 12.5% dark elf... and she is so petite because she was basically starved? cuz her mom's got MILF curves.
I guess a Tolkien? Haha. It's a "homebrew", yeah.Runey, are you using a specific (existing) lore for your worldbuilding, or are you pulling a Tolkien?
Have to say that I fully like this direction. One of the first VNs I really got involved in was Katawa Shoujo, and there was always an interesting back story and progression for each of them. A broken girl is a gem in the rough...The game will be getting at minimum 13 main characters if I'm able to do everything I want. I don't know who those characters are yet, but they'll be coming. Maybe even after Lin, Kali, Ashley, and Maria's stories are completed (so I don't spread myself thin).
A new character is coming regardless, and this one has a good design and backstory. And potential for a good story in the future if I'm able to think of one.
Girls I add to HH seem to be broken in some way or another, hers is just physical.
She's adorable!!!!Since the discord has been going crazy over a girl in a wheelchair (partly fueled by me) I decided to make this chracter.
Whether or not she'll be in game, I don't know. I have no plans for her.

I love all the thought you've put into this world. Out of curiosity any chance of us leaving the Hotel and exploring the world at large? You may be confusing Dark Elf with Drow. Ann is a Dark Elf (Dark skin color) Drows have light purple skin color and white hair.
Ashley is about 6% Dark Elf (You can see it in her eye color), one of her parents is 12.5% Dark Elf, so it's fairly reasonable to assume skin color would change at at least 25% (This is all fictional, I'm essentially creating my own rules, I'm not a biologist.)
She looks vaguely like her teacher...iirc.. (I put absolutely no effort into Ashley's Mom. I just hoped people forgot about her.)
To be fair, half elves are generally forbidden anyway. I don't know if runey is referring to a much stronger rule/penalty, but yeah, the humans don't even recognize half elves, they have no rights if they are born, etc. Assholes wouldn't want to breed drow just because their children would be useless, and good people wouldn't want to doom their offspring, so it's just, they take care and abort if necessary. It's not that hard to parse. And obviously, since there are several girls in the hotel with pink/purple eyes, it's safe to say that the taboo isn't thaaat strict.But...condoms are not 100%, and pulling out is not an effective method of birth control.
Condoms are about 85% effective - 15 out of 100 people using condoms as their only birth control will get pregnant.

The pullout method is about 78% effective - 22 out of 100 people using it as their only birth control will get pregnant.

Having regular sex with no birth control gives an 86% chance to get pregnant in a given year, given a 15% chance per month. It's statistically 15-25%; on the higher end if you have sex while the woman is ovulating, dropping down very low if you don't.

These numbers are on average over a large population, and no indication of what will happen in an individual case.
I assume that they would also be revved up like a deuce?A Half Dark Elf / Half Drow would literally be blinded by any light
Yes, however with the drow DNA they won't be running through the night.I assume that they would also be revved up like a deuce?
I love the design (and the glasses), but I'm really not into the drow backstory or disability angle. I would also caution against including a disabled character in a fashion where they're set up to be cared for and fetishized. Even if that isn't your specific intent here, that's probably going to be the perception. That's quite likely to attract a certain amount of antipathy from the disabled community.Since the discord has been going crazy over a girl in a wheelchair (partly fueled by me) I decided to make this chracter.

Well, nobody from the LGBT community has knocked on my door about Maria. Someone from the discord who also has a problem with his legs was excited about the character.I love the design (and the glasses), but I'm really not into the drow backstory or disability angle. I think there's a line that can easily be crossed, but that because a line exists doesn't mean you shouldn't make the attempt. No representation is not good either. Fetish content isn't great, but at least it's not overall negative representation. I feel like developers like Runey can potentially help to alleviate a taboo where there shouldn't be one. Totally cool. It was more of a heads-up since it sounded like she was going to be largely defined by her disability. This is a tricky area where there are a lot of complicated feelings.Well, nobody from the LGBT community has knocked on my door about Maria.
