I play with the version: Harem Hotel [v0.7.1]

In the morning, when he woke up he said:

"The postman has arrived and is waiting for you at the front door"

But I can not find the front door, Thanks for helping me ...

Excuse my bad English !
There is a small square icon horizontally centred at the bottom of the screen that looks like a door. It appears in your room and the Lobby. Click on it.

I thought the slavery discussion had died some 200 pages ago. 0.o

Also, since I last added that as an edit to a post that likely wasn't read again:
Ashley Anal in dungeon increments the counter twice.

It's my fault honestly, i recently replayed the game which got me thinking of a few things and i wrote what i didn't think was a controversial post about how hard it is to ignore the slavery aspect in a modern setting.

In hindsight i should have known i would have upset some people. Maybe we should ask the mod to just delete all the posts.

wait, how is that a bad thing?
Also;
how do i duplicate it because its not happening for me...
Maybe it has been fixed in 0.7.1, I just haven't seen it in the log.
When taking her to the dungeon and picking "Anal Lift", it will increase her anal counter by 2. Maybe something to do with denying her twice, then still letting her cum?

please study your history, slavery was huge in the British Empire!
I never said it didn't happen, I said it's never been a big thing in the UK meaning nobody gives a shit about what happened years ago.

The British Empire hasn't been a thing for a loooooong time and slavery has never been a big thing in the UK. It's not something the schools teach nor is it something that has any bearing on our daily lives.

I'm certainly not going to feel bad for something my long dead ancestors may or may not have done many years ago.

Yes there are, that doesn't mean everything is black and white, a lot of the stuff is grey but that doesn't mean we can't dissociate between who is mostly viewed as good and who is bad, that's a silly argument. Not everyone in LOTR or Star Trek is on the same grey wave length, this is silly. You are treating it as if i said one society is ideal and the other is hell incarnate, which isn't the point i was making. Your fundamental problem is that you think 'fantasy settings' can literally excuse anything as long as it's a fantasy setting, it's amazing.

The irony is amazing. Yes they were, even back then you had advocates against slavery as it was an immoral thing, obviously it isn't viewed as badly or as unjustly as it is through modern lens, but that is my point. The slavery of this game is set in present times, it's weird to see people on cell phones and in cars and also walk around elves on a leash like it's a normal thing.

You are talking out of your ass and your background doesnt excuse the massive point you are missing or how upset you are with me not sharing your opinions exactly. You don't know how slavery looks like(your great grandmother does), but none of us do unless we happen to still live in parts of the world where that is still happening. And you missing the point is ever more clear here because i am perfectly capable of putting it aside just enough to play and enjoy the game, it's a game i repeatedly said i loved, but because you got triggered with me saying it's HARD to ignore that part of the game(not that it's impossible), you now feel obligated to brow beat me over the head with it and explain to me how i should view things the same way as you if i don't well there must be something wrong with me.
Who said a fictional product isn't fictional?
Are you even real right now ?

You're the one who wanted to label slavery and the people doing it in this FICTIOUS universe as bad. You're also the one who wants to corrolate a FICTIOUS FANTASY setting as equal to REALITY. You cannot seperate the two elements because for you who has never been effected by slavery in the slightest feels the need to be offended that FICTIONAL CHARACTERS have a society that is completely different than REALITY.

No one in this thread is going to argue that slavery outside of a fictious setting is reprehensible but you'd try and argue that even in fiction it is. That it's somehow not remotely possible that centuries of Slavery doesn't make it common place. History would like a word with you. Several Nations and Empires had slavery, it was common place and very few people much like this game batted an eye.

Sorry if Slavery somehow offends you, but forgive me the person who has actual routes that trace back to it for not finding offense in a Fantasy Fiction setting. If it wasn't clear again not the only fantasy fiction setting to do this, perhaps you might want to read more books to become desensitzed to your innability to seperate fiction from non-fiction.

God your posts get sillier each time it's almost impossible to ignore and you completely invent out of thin air the point i am making. I live in a country that was under foreign subjugation for 500 years, slavery and second class citizenship was common place here, so again don't speak to me like you know anything about me.

Yea imagine how all of that happened hundreds of years ago and not in modern setting, which is the point i was making and the one you are missing.

It's shocking that slavery is offensive i know. I have routes that trace back to slavery as well, it's however irrelevant to the argument i was making, as it's irrelevant to all the points you are missing as well.

Anyway i deleted all the posts cause i don't wanna derail this thread any further with this nonsense and i don't think Runey deserves it. Now i wish you could just stop being so triggered and stop putting words into my mouth, telling me what opinions i have and telling me where i did or didn't come from.

I wasn't triggered, and it's cute that you think i was putting words in your mouth when you admitted to the game breaking your suspension of disbelief over slavery.

I was pointing out how extrodinarly flawed your perspective was and how silly it is for you to get this devestated over a work of fiction. You wanna go out there and fight the good fight against modern cases of slavery and the sex trade more power to you.

While i wasn't 'devastated' but more bemused which is why i ended my original post with 'lol' I will say it's perfectly fine to get "devastated" over a work of fiction, it hasn't happened yet to me over a porn game, but it has happened to me before while watching certain movies/series and reading certain books, oh and some of them were in fantasy settings.

Anyway i am actually done now, good luck with everything.

If you read it though it's not really slavery to them, it's the same as owning a pet. Elves aren't human so some people view them as nothing more than intelligent animals and then seek to dominate the intelligence out of them.

It provides an overall narrative on the state of the world and gives the MC a goal. He went from knowing nothing about slavery to being at the very forefront of them getting more freedom without even knowing. All of a sudden he's started an Elf sanctuary and freed 3 of them.

Without that narrative going on the game doesn't have a goal. It can be argued that the girls individual stories are a goan and in the short term that's true but the entire setting needs something to push a narrative and in this case it's what happens to the Elves at the end of the game.

It also gets people invested in that world. A lot of us love Lin, we want her to be happy. Ashley had an Elf she was close to and we also meet other elves along the way. It makes us want to improve things for them which gives us a goal bigger than "let's fuck all the pussy".
Thanks for writing the post that I was spooling up to make. Slavery is detestable and Runey's story serves to remind us that, despite how benignly it might be framed to observers, it is still reprehensible and should be fought whenever encountered. Runey has indicated in this thread on a number of occasions that this will be a story of redemption and authors of fiction can't have that redemption without creating the environment that needs to be changed.

I, for one, want Runey to continue developing this surprisingly engrossing plot and I would be disappointed if he was dissuaded from finishing his story because some of us can't separate a fictional "hero's arc" from real-world problems.

Sorry for drifting slightly offtopic with this, but just to give two examples on the matter:
People who're able to watch Schindler's List or Requiem for a Dream for the first time without getting devastated by it are either extremely apathic or psychotic, imho... (and yes, I'm fully aware that Schindler's List is based on true events, but a movie is still a movie)
If anyone reading this hasn't seen these yet: You should change that, they're exceptional movies, but don't do it on a day where you're down/depressed anyways... ...just don't.

I actually cried like a water fountain the first time i watched Schindler's List.

Hell when i was a kid and i watched the Never Ending story for the first time i cried when the freaking horse sank in the mud and that whole thing was complete fantasy. It's perfectly fine and even a healthy thing to get emotional over such scenes, as you said if some scenes that are meant to be devastating have no effect on you then you just might be a psychopath.

I'm not American, slavery was never a big thing in the UK, I don't know much about it apart from what i've seen in movies and shit so can't comment on what it was like IRL.

You are technically BOTH correct.
The Slavery Was almost entirely in the Colonies & not the UK mainland.
And when the Abolishment started, it took a long time because all the slave owners had to list their slaves ( assets? ) to claim compensation. And all the claims needed checking which meant some clerk had to spend months sailing round to the colonies to check the figures.

the hiding place [the movie based on the book by corrie ten boom]
i cried buckets. even more so when they showed Her at the end of the movie.

so since we agree that Slavery = Bad.
When can we buy Ren from the government? she would be 1k or less... not as hot as Jin and same type as her, Lin and Nia.....
ooh how about you HAVE to buy her in order to have the part-Drow girl at the hotel; she has to act as her caregiver or something; so you buy her move her to sanctuary; or Ashley's room [like Jin in Lin's room] and everybody wins! Ren and Ashley get reunited and she basically goes on perma-holiday... and the Part-Drow gal gets semi-independence (easier to seduce) too!
