I wanna make a reference to Harry Potter's books, why? Because the situation is similar.
the situation in HP: Hermione discovers about the elves being basically slaves, she starts a party for freeing the elves in Hogwarts, she started by sewing and making clothes for them(because giving clothes to an elf = freeing him/her/them), by that time Dobby was already free, and worked in Hogwarts, like the classic random janitor that you're friend with.
So Hermione wanted to force freedom upon those school-elves but she faced a wall of denial: Yes, the school-elves didn't care less about freedom, they were/are good in working for the school, because they know and learned that Hogwarts is a safe place for them: They work(like cooking, doing laundry, cleaning and stuff) and in exchange they have a place where they can live, it's exactly like living where you work!
The elves(in HP) know that freedom is a good thing, but they also know that they don't have the skills for living outside and that they're small, weak(physically), and they don't have enough knowledge to start a community somewhere, not mentioning that they may risk being captured all over again, and enslaved. So while Hermione was a hypocrite(but we forgive her bc at the time she was like 14) mostly for not even asking what the elves wanted, by forcefully freeing some elves(she did that) she indirectly put on Dobby pretty much all the cleaning of the Gryffindor's tower(yeah, the whole Gryffindor's house it's a tower with many dorm rooms, with 5 beds for every room, in theory it's like 250 beds to take care of, every single day).
In the Harem Hotel:
- Lin: Doesn't want to be freed because she may know(or guess) that she doesn't have the skill to survive outside the hotel, away from MC, like the school-elves (in HP) can guess(or already knew) that freedom is something that takes time, because involves many other variables before actually being freed.
-Blond Elf(Don't remember her name): She praises freedom, and try to forcefully free Lin, because she is noble, before the enslavement she was living the good life since she was born. While Hermione, she is born free, with two dentists as parents (as far as i know, the dentists are the kind of rich doctors, and it's kinda stated in the books that she can have cooler staff than Ron, who is the sixth child of a family that lives on under the average area of wealth, not considering that less than a year later he was born, Ginny was born, the first girl in a house full of men/boys...Ron was neglected even more, than the other brothers...but that's not the point...sorry.) so she may know about slavery(if you headcanon Hermione being from a black family) but she never felt it on her skin, she never had to question her skill...she was going to school for that reason: learning skill...so in a way Hermione = Blond Elf = Noble = Easy Start in Life.
- Main Character(MC): He is a nice guy, he is a good master, like Hogwarts/Dumbledore is a good boss/master for the school-elves, Lin and the HP-elves are allowed to have a place where to sleep, access to bathrooms, and access to food(because they work in the kitchens and have a lunch-break), MC is also such a good master that Lin is willing to compete with other slaves in something sexual, Lin blindly trusts MC, and he gave her many reasons to love him as a man and as a master, but someone in a privileged position like the Blond Elf and Hermione, they're so spoiled and used to a good life, that they don't understand that someone can be happy by working for someone who treats them good.
