Nope, it just stops working end of story, as I said, I have been using it for months on public releases, and then using those saves on the betas, lains mod just stops working on new content.

How are things with Lain? I know her page was getting investigated by Patreon but ive not heard much on her situation since. Hope things get resolved for her quickly, shes been a real hero to the community across many games.

They were going after her? Holy shit. That is way darker than i anticipated, i dont dabble with the Summertime Saga community and best i dont start now if they are that toxic. Hope she is well and takes all the time she needs as thats gotta have a profound effect on anyone best of all those who least deserve it. Thanks for the clarification.

Runey has said he has done 2 scenes with Ellen, and here is hoping one is to finely creampie her and make her part of our harem.Very cool game, just finished the currenrt build
sad there is no more scene with Ellen and Sylvia, defineltly waiting for the current build
Seeing as how we are breaking Slyvia there will be more of her.

Just play the game as is my friend. Runey redid a lot of the older scenes so for once its actually adviced that if you're starting the game from scratch again you do create a fresh game and enjoy all the content anew.
That really sux for Lain. She's done so many mods for so many games on here that the thought of losing her talents could have a major impact on the community. It looks like someone over on the Parental Love side has (temporarily?) taken up the mantle of updating the mod for that, so maybe someone here will be able to do the same when v0.11 comes out should it be needed.

I was going to ask for a resumed version of what happened but following that link got me what I needed. Man, just when I thought my misanthropy couldn't get worse, people go and pull a stunt like this just to make someone else miserable. Admittedly I'm still relatively new here and never actually used Lain's mod(s), so I can't advocate for her character/work, but no one deserves that kind of garbage in their life, especially when they've been nothing but helpful for a long time.

That sucks! She doesn't deserve that. At least she has the other one, Subscribe star, there is also Tippee and some others. I don't use mods often on these games, though I did on some of the 2D games like Rogue-Like, always hoped someone would make one to replace the new Eve with the old one at much as possible (I stopped following that game almost 2 years ago now). lol
That said, I love modding in general, and fully support the work that modders do. Without mods, some games would barely be playable. Support your favorite modders in any way you can, even if that is just likes. Props to Lain, and everything she has done for the community, I hope she can get this straightened out.
It's too bad Lain can't post her mods there (understandably), but I've rarely seen modders on Nexus get treated as badly as she has been. Hopefully, she'll be able to get everything worked out, but I have serious doubts we'll see her around here for quite a while, at least.
You are clearly missing the point that MC's "training technique" is based on genuine emotion and care.
While you can "pretend" on the slave route with the new elves later on, at that point there's no "pretense" whatsoever - and this is what MC manages to get Cornwall to acknowledge.
I don't like the Cornwall scene in the slightest (mostly because I don't like "degradation" or similar content, period). But I will still argue you're pushing a completely unsubstantiated interpretation against what the game actually shows.

Haven't interacted with Main Lain directly, but aside from using their mods, I saw them being extremely helpful on numerous sub-boards. To get anything other than appreciation for so much effort and work put into this community. Would've been nice to see F95 mods do something not just to acknowledge Maim Lain's contributions, but also issue official statement of zero tolerance toward such dickhattery on their boards. And removal of all those perpetrating assholes...

That's incredibly naive. What do you think that a slaver who doesn't care about his elves is going to do when told that that is more effective? He's going to actually start caring about them? Or he's going to fake it? Everyone said how sorry they felt for Ann, well congratulations, take that story and multiply it by a million. That's what 'winning' is going to cause. It's so sad that the rest of the game which is brilliant is spoiled by this awful plot.

Summertime Saga always drove me up the walls with its replay it from the freaking beginning with seemingly every update. I really haven't seen that with some of the other games like Superpowered, Deviant Discoveries, or Harem Hotel.
The last update with that simon says mini-game for the rap battle was, for me the final straw (The choose lyrics was IMHO so much better).
I have seen really good coding (World Builder for the Mac which lasted from 1986 to when Apple dropped Classic support with Leopard in 2007) and coding that seemed to be the product of the programmer rolling their face on the keyboard (nearly every Mac program in the 1984-1990 per had something go wrong every time Apple updated the OS) and Summertime Saga was sliding into the other category.
I was pleasantly surprised by Harem Hotel's fix to previous saves. It so refreshing to have a programmer who actually knows what they are doing and goes the extra mile to keep old saves working. Superpowered and Deviant Discoveries are tolerate of old save but not to that extent.

Alphas are really a mixed bag. I have seen ones that are so good they should be caused beta and others...well 'ugh' would best way to describe them. If the internet wasn't Sturgeon's Law to the nth power then putting them out would help but the internet is the internet and so that goes into the 'really bad idea' bin.
When you think about it that really doesn't make much sense as that is technically in the middle. Some of her riddles have a black Swan aspect to them.
