Question? I’m unable to open the save file I downloaded from others even though I replaced the old save file in . Is there like a tutorial on how to load the game with a save file that I want to?

Lately I've gotten to the point where I mostly skip through the sex scenes just to get on with the story, leaving both my heads confused. This never happened in my teenage years, goshdarnit.Maybe I'm weird, cause I never beat the meat while playing. I think I enjoy the story more than sex scenes.
When I was in my teens, I tended to skip the story and try to go straight to the sex scenes. Unfortunately, I tended to get slapped alot.
If the save used a mod, you will need that mod to use that save, try getting Lane's mod, and see if that works.
Depends for me, lately, unless I am beta testing/proofreading for someone, I rarely have time to play for any other reason, so I tend to multitask as much as I can... XD
I can't say I go that far, I still watch the sex scenes, I just don't do anything BUT watch them and move on as if they were a normal scene.
For me, it depends on the scene, who it is with, and how I feel at the time.
Some scenes I absolutely love, and will watch over and over, while others don't interest me in the slightest, and I just can't wait for them to end (though that last bit is rare here).
I'm too much of a completionist so it's rare for me to skip scenes/dialogue in a game. One of the few exceptions is if I'm having to repeat something almost immediately after the first time (usually because of crashes or glitches).

I guess I should clarify, I rarely straight up "skip" a scene, unless it is one of those rare ones that I don't unlock, like Ashley's Lust events, but there are some, (especially in some other games), that I just click through real fast, and don't really pay a lot of attention to certain parts of it.
I'll admit that there are times during the sex scenes where I'll go through them fairly quickly, but that's only because there are just so many times I can watch the animations loop over and over again before I get bored and need to move on. I don't know that I'd consider that actual skipping since it's not like I'm missing something that I didn't see just moments ago in the same loop.
Yeah, I try to make sure I read any important dialogue here, because I love the lore and characters that much, but there are some games where the dialogue is so inane that I just can't bring myself to care. lol
I am glad Runey doesn't do that to us, if there is dialogue, then odds are it matters in some way... There is a fine like between realistic dialogue, and TMI. Unless it is brief, like the scene start with them talking about something boring, and them we move onto something more interesting, we don't need to know some things. I don't care what you had for breakfast, unless it matters to the plot, the lore, or ...something, like we want to know someone's favorite foods, or whatever...
The characters can make small talk, without boring the players with it.
And for me, some sex scenes can be the same way, if it is too vanilla, not with someone I like, or some other thing in there I don't care for, then I don't have a lot of interest in seeing it, and I want to get through it as quickly as possible, though I prefer it if all sex scenes are optional myself. We can't really choose what turns us on or off, so as long as there is no story development there, we should not have to sit through scenes we find too unpleasant, even if exceptions occasionally need to be made for plot reasons.

I agree. Unless it's something key to the plot, I prefer lore and character backgrounds to be separate dialogue choices where it's optional whether or not the player has to read/listen to it. With the amount of lore Runey is putting into this, how long do you think it'll be before someone comes along and does for it what Fudgemuppet does for the lore of Elder Scrolls?
Well, they are at least getting the wikia done, and that is a really good place to start with that. Lore videos would make sense, one of these days, especially once he moves onto a sequel. XD

Yeah I know it would be expensive as fk for Runey. Them girls aren't selling their voices for cheap but some do, and even some for free (they just want credits for). I just want the best for this game. I got a lot of respect for it and my eyes are in hearts every time i think of harem hotel (not only for the h-scenes, even if it's the only thing i wanted at first
). The characters are well constructed and brilliant personally-wise (really easy to get into the story). But there's that lil missing recipe, the sound (the game is too quiet man *crickets*). Doesn't need to be the whole game in voice lines (which would be massive and probably unnecessary work). Just some moments... Some like: "Hi master (in a sexy way)" or can i make you some breakfast (Autumn or Sylvia in her maid outfit *drooling *). Nothing too large or too difficult to implement "in-game". Put small voice lines every here and theres just to make the player familiar with the voices and when comes the H-Scenes, GO FULL FORCE, LET"S GOOOO: MOANS, SKIN CONTACT, IMPREGNATION SOUND, MAKE HER SAY SHE'S YOUR CUMDUMP AND THEN LEAVE TO FUCK ANOTHER GIRL (Just kidding OR AM I ). *Ahem* Harem hotel is my favorite visual novel game so far and it will be very difficult for me to replace it for another one but i recently found games like House party or AI Shoujo which offer roam type of playstyle which heavily increase the player's experience with sex sounds and more. It will be very difficult for me to return to a visual novel after those. Runey is the captain of the boat and he is the only one that can decide to step his game up (that was a play on words) or not. Either way, harem hotel stays in my heart.

The best for this game is what Runey wants. As for doing only partial voicing, that actually detracts from the game, it doesn't benefit it. People don't typically like things half done even if half done was unavoidable and that would be a situation where it would seem half done. Also, as far as voiced sex scene lines, not a lot of people like that, Devian and myself are two examples. AI Shoujo and House Party are a different type of game where voiced lines are pretty much expected, Harem Hotel is a VN, a type of medium where voiced lines are nothing but a bonus that is rarely ever expected outside of the big VN developers that are known for almost always hiring voice actors, these companies being much bigger in scale and far more capable than a single person developer, no offense Runey.
