VN - Ren'Py - Harem Hotel [v0.18.2] [Runey]

Made me cry (damn you ashley). It makes you forget for awhile that well..you're playing an game that you probably downloaded so you could fap . I enjoyed the story and the characters themselves. I'm not sure if I missed anything story related as I checked in the game everywhere and even the small progress area, but a better way to know/check if you're done with the update would be cool! I'll definitely keep this on my watch list so I can play more in the future. There is lots and lots of content already!

im usually pretty harsh with reviews but this gets a 5+/5 stars!

This is only the second time I've given 5 stars... this earns them.

You start off with 15 minutes of mundane clicking through the first 10-15 days in the game... you think to yourself, I'm going to bang my slavegirl and just own some arse. And initially this is hot... who am I kidding, this game is always hot...

But then you get to day 20 or so and you're feeling for the slavegirl and you don't want to mistreat her and you don't want to share her pics... all the girls are like this... even the ones you initially hate (because they're royal bitches)... but eventually, they all win you over with their charm and unique personalities. This is a tribute to the writing. All the dialog in this is exceptional. It may be why you opened this game up, the idea of dominating someone... but if you still want to mistreat Lin after day 20, you have no heart at all.

The story is ridiculous on it's face and the fantasy angle, also ridiculous--with elves and fairies and slaves... but it's also a masterpiece, because of all of this. You're introduced to the elf backstory right away and this helps with immersion. You're mind accepts it's a fantasy right away, and then the rest of the story is much more acceptable... because it's all ridiculous. And I think the author knows it, because the characters know it and they let you hear it constantly with some of the best wit and humor this genre has to offer.

I laughed out loud so many times in this... I kept notes of lines of dialog that had me rolling. And what's amazing about that, is none of it is dick-joke frathouse humor. It's smart. Very smart. All of it is, the humor, the writing... even the story... the backstories of the elves and the fairies. Of the individual characters.

I also appreciated the theming. All of the characters in this have a story that is based around possession and ownership. It's soo consistent that it makes me assume the author has actual storytelling training. Like they understood the very concept of themes. Most titles in this genre are all over the place trying to give everyone everything... and that's fine with fetishes... but to be a storyteller, theming is very important... I don't know, maybe they stumbled onto it... however it happened, it's college level.

In many many many ways, this is smarter than it has any right to be.

I liked the main character, too. I never felt like a weak cuck... he always seemed to say what was on my my mind in response to whatever situation he was in. He's not an indecisive guy that just lets all these bimbos flop on his schlong. He stands up for himself and those around him. I appreciated this.

The animations are seamless.. I mean they are clear animations, all of it is because it has a 3d render in a cartoon style... so your mind never goes to a photorealistic expecting place... but that doesn't mean it's not hot. The animations have fluid movement and tend to matchcut well with the stationary shots. The cartoonish style actually lends to the individual style each character has. The way their eyes move and look in situations. They come to life. This is a very professional visual presentation.

But none of it should be taken too seriously... it doesn't have a giant plot that takes itself seriously... it's clearly meant for titillation. Clearly the author wants the audience to get off... and you will. But then you'll laugh. And you'll care. And you'll think. Whether you want to or not.

Just give it the first 15 days or so (15 minutes of game play)... because early I thought the game was going to be very repetitive with just clicking doors and hearing the same old dialog with each knock of the door.

This is a masterpiece. A comedic erotic fantasy with a heart of gold and a brain.

(I appreciated being able to skip the cat story... I don't need to know how that ended... ever...)

I hate to be doing this, but this is a revised review. This game has lost me.

For the longest time, I used to think that this was a masterpiece on this website. In fact I still think it is better than average, and I still think it's worth a download. Just get Lain's mod first.

However, it's no longer on my list of favorites. The developer decided that instead of making a porn game, they are gonna make a political propaganda piece. That they are gonna shove their politics, pretty basic politics at that, into their porn game, and they are gonna smash all the nuance and portray all of the opponents of their politics as some sort of one-dimensional evil.

I'd rather play a game that doesn't do that.

I came (hee hee) to Harem Hotel just for a quick fap or two but was completely sucked (hoo hoo) in by the story telling and characters. I did not really imagine an h-game could be for anything else other than sexual gratification, but I am unironically here for the plot. (although the H scenes are also very good) I may or may not have shed a few tears during Ashley’s storyline.

Pros:
-Many deep characters
-A large amount of content
-Captivating story telling
-Headpats and cuddling

Cons:
-Stat improvement can feel grindy at times, but not too terrible

I think this may be the best harem type game for someone like me. This has almost all of my favorite fetishes and manages to have a enjoyable story too.

The girls are all to eager to jmp the MC's pants but that's to be expected in a porn game. I like the design for most of the girls in the game. It helps that they have their own backstories as well.

I feel the dev is one of the best ones I have seen when it comes to releases, communication and content.

I've followed this game since it released, this game since version 1 had so much content and now its trippled, the characters are all different and unique with well done styles. This is easily a 10/10 game for me.

I love this game, I go through it several times and I have pleasure every time - I play with different paths - I am impatiently waiting for the development of events and AUTUMN and ELLEN.

I like the slow process of maturing and training the characters, I hope that one of the characters gets pregnant or maybe two - then a doctor's examination, sex during pregnancy - lactation -perfect

To be honest, i wasn't really expecting that much coming in to this game.

What i found were compelling characters, competent writing, interesting (although a bit barebones explanation) mythos of a world and pretty well done sex scenes.

For what it is currently, definitely worth supporting in patreon or atleast trying out for yourself, and i'm interested in seeing more after finishing all the content that current release has to offer.

Its nice and cute combo of management and dating sim.The game has actual character development which was a nice surprise,given how much humor is in the game the serious/deeper moments caught off guard and actually made an impression - which again - good writting all around,one I wasnt really expecting.

Lewds are good,done with taste a lil bit of something for different apetite.

Update 9.2: I got a lot of love for this game, and I've been a patron in the past, but these long winded exposition/lore dumps in the middle of every girls update are killing the game for me. I can't jack off to a 30 page manifesto on elf magic or fairy politics.

Played through v0.9.2 halfway so far. I went in expecting a generic 3DCG VN game but the fun development of the characters really took me by surprise. Although it starts pretty smutty, the character story really picks up and there are many great feels and funny scenes. Not something you'd expect from a beta.

Excellent game, plus the creator releases updates for free.

Well just started the game for the first time, did a complete playthrough up until latest content. Will say there is plenty of content and more to branch off with the char story's/hotel setup.
Love the choice selection without any real drawback which is creating a true harem. art 9/10 dialog 9.5/10 Hscene's 9/10 Overall fairly pleased with the game and waiting to see where it goes.

Really Love this game and just waiting to see what happens next. I have been following it for some time and waiting to see what happens when they reach the elves. The characters are a lot of fun and the story is a lot deeper tan I first expected. Keep up the excellent work.

This game keeps getting better and better. Top notch models and the animations are totally worth repeating. Good story and deeper than a prongame has any reason to be but that's a plus! 11/10 No clear Best Girl, imho. All are hot and well done in the context of you being in charge and on Top.

+ Great writing! There is plenty of text to read when it is needed but there are also some short dialogues when they are needed aswell!
+ solid art
+ nice girls with various personalities
+ solid amount of choices for VN but it could always use more
+ kind of dirty once in a while (you gotta love Ashley's personality )
but sadly, for me its still not enough xD
+ There isnt a slow corruption system but its not a long one either, i think you've managed to find the right spot there.
+ the...story of the Android is extremely well made and although i dont like androids, it brought a tear to my eye

- earning money is a slow and tidious process, it might be a good idea to add more ways how player can earn money. and if we're talking dirty, how about collecting squirt/piss(/cum) from girls and selling it, maybe with the same way as pictures or selling some of their panties (with or without approval, dirty or clean, doesnt matter).
- some events are not interesting (elf queen, the fuck contest with the slave owners,...) but thats alright, you can't ... satisfy the interests or needs of every player out there.
- no pregnancy (yet?). I will start a fireworks when if Ashley says that she is pregnant

I'd like to see something more dirty or more management, for example expanding the hotel like with nursery (in case you plan on adding pregnancy feature in there) or maybe some free fuck club.

This is one of the best Ren'py games with a male protag. Tons of content that covers nearly everything you can imagine. The repeatable scenes and occasional surprises keep me hooked. The game is fairly regularly updated and the creator is relatively active with the fans.

Quality of the game is not the best in the field and the progress with the girls is sometimes rushed but I love this game. I dont know what makes it so good, but I am hooked. All characters are likeable and the environment is just so cozy for me I feel like home. Keep it up and dont rush it we will wait patiently for the next update no matter how long it will take.
