Because it is a beta. That means that it is not finished, and still needs work.
It was against Runey's wishes that it got posted here, because Runey knew that it still had issues.
Regular posters in this thread have been warning people not to play the beta.
It is BROKEN, and the dev knew that before someone posted it here.

Runey knew about the bugs, which is why Runey does not ever post betas of Harem Hotel here.

People playing the beta are literally wasting their time, and potentially setting themselves up for future problems with broken saves, created while playing the beta.

Why do people have problems with the idea of the clones messing around together with the MC? (Claiming it to be incest)
If the entire Christian world has no problem with God yoinking a rib out of Adam and creating a woman, obviously based on Adams DNA, then they should have no problem with Emma and Felicity messing around together...

You do realize one of the features in the game is entering a code to change every single instance of the word "Clone" to the word "Twin", right? Hence the incest.

I'm a supporter of the twins to do whatever they want, they're not hurting anyone . And it's not like they can knock each other up, that is until Kali invents something for them.

I don't know if this is related, but I remember a post from not too long ago where someone asked what the difference was between a clone and a twin because the distinction didn't seem to be apparent in their native language. A clone is typically defined as someone or something artificially created using the genetic material from some parent source. Twins are just siblings that developed together in the womb and birthed at roughly the same time.

Good news is, you can download the "update-only" file instead of the whole game again when it releases.

And I don't think it's done yet. Someone on Discord said it's still very buggy and seeing as it's called Pre-Release 1, it's almost certain there will be more test versions. An August release seems very unlikely at this point.

What it says is pre release "1" There would be no point in putting the 1 there, unless they knew that there was a chance of a 2 coming along.
With that said, do not count on a week till full release.

Now, if it said Release "1" then that could imply that it was an early release for donors, but it says pre release, not release.

I could be wrong, but it is best not to get your hopes up, or do things that will get other peoples hopes up.
In the past, Runey has always posted here to let everyone know that it was being released to subscribers, and what the eta was for release here.

Most likely it will be updated when the full release comes out, because Lain would be insane to waste their time working on a mod for a buggy beta release that was not even supposed to be released to the public yet, because of the bugs.
