Yeah, it can be, especially when the one you like gets bashed, or like in Kate's case, where her plot is being elusive. I cannot speak for anyone else, but personally, I am doing it partly in jest, but mainly due to Runey saying they could be an option. I doubt too many here would want to push Runey into doing something that makes 'em unhappy.
While it can be frustrating to have people want you to take a story in a direction you had not intended, or bring back a character you never intended to focus on. I prefer to think of it as a complement myself, a testament to a well crafted character. Also, at least in my experience, if there is a female in one of these games, there will be someone who wants to sleep with her, it's kind of like one of those Rules of the Internet.
