It should... but it just so happens that the link to the thread also says ALPHA v0.10. It is rather misleading, methinks.
I mean, you have the 10 ALPHA, then you have the 9.2 nothing below, it's rather easy to assume the v10 is the actual version and that 9.2 is just the old version and not actual release, isn't it? There is a lot of people who don't bother to keep their alphas and betas straight.

I don't see "ALPHA v0.10", just "v0.10 ALPHA". But I'd interpret them both the same - stay far away, since I don't want to deal with bugs.
I'd say the changelog full of "nothing yet" would clue them in, but I doubt the people who don't know what an alpha is would read the changelog. Or wonder why there are 4 lines of links under 0.9.2 and 1 line under 0.10 alpha.

Or, perhaps, by writing [UNSTABLE!] besides? I mean, that way you don't need to know the specifics of what does the greek letter mean in this specific context: Unstable means unstable however you read it. Eight letters that no English-speaker would misconstruct unless they actually do not read. You can't stop people who don't read from falling for it, but it's just eight character that would avoid an untold amount of confusion.

Wasnt v0.10 already moved on from Alpha to Beta to the start of the month anyway? Id advice just waiting a bit longer personally and im sure the official release will more or less have a date in Runeys mind by now. People get a tad impatient with updates to games ive seen on various sites that ive noticed especially with ones they've no intention of even supporting lol (yet often trying to state a devs patreons etc are being ripped off haha).
Anyway im curious if there was ever any rough roadmaps given, not for updates per say but future plans. I recall once the plan was three floors of guests but that was a long time ago and plans change. Hell id argue that perhaps the third floor of guest rooms became the slave house and they three will in themselves become full integrated love interests and story characters eventually given there is romance routes teased for them (im guessing) as you can offer them complete freedom again. I think its them im most hyped for as theyre more the blankest slate - the main guests are unique and interesting but I think I get hyped by more elf development than weirder ones like faeries lol.

It's hard to imagine a native english speaker not understanding what Alpha means, especially if they've been on the internet for longer than a few years. Any way you look at it, Alpha means first. (It's the first letter of the greek alphabet, thus the name ALPHAbet(a)" For software specifically it usually means it's very buggy too, because we haven't been able to find the bugs. We don't plan for unstable builds, but we do plan for the first builds.
This was never meant to be seen by the public, the only people who complain are people who have no idea what's going on, and I don't blame them. 10 is bigger than 9. But people also know an Alpha is buggy, and if you didn't now you do

I'd like to get in 3 floors, but I can't work on more main characters at the moment.
HH is also getting very big, the Android file size is the main limiter.
Both of these things combined likely means either there wont be a third floor, or there will be a HH part 2 that includes the next characters, but not the story content of the first part to reduce file size.
Couldn't you just go the Ecchi Sensei route and make the part 2 accept the savefiles of part 1, in order to reduce file size and maybe do some refactoring of the internals or similar (which I'm pretty sure you would like to do)?
Saves add nothing to the file size. It's all in the images and videos, it's the only way to reduce the file size further. Android has been compressed to an insane amount already, PC/Mac has as well to a lesser extent to keep the quality. Without the current compressions, HH would be in the dozens of GBs. It's a massive game.

The way ES https://f95zone.to/threads/ecchi-sensei-day-18-19-beta-bluecat.14927 deals with having absolutely massive file sizes is that it releases a "new game" with every update, but the "games" share saves between each other. So, whenever a massive new update hits, the assets and images are not bundled into the old file, but instead go into a new one entirely. However, the save files are shared between the games - so if you want, you can continue the day 18 and 19 beta from the savefiles for the previous days. That helps them keep the file sizes down, and refactor things under the hood, without breaking the continuity.

I don't think you have the slightest clue what a massive undertaking that would be.
some of those scenes could start becoming unavailable after a certain point, if keeping the file size down is the goal - like the Lin's Wednesday scene for instance, or all of the softcore in places like the cafe after the hardcore has been unlocked.
In general I find the amount and repetitiveness of these scenes to be something I completely bypassed with the Laim mod due to grindiness, so I don't really see most of them as crucial. Fun, yes, crucial, for most of them not really.
