Same here, I mute the music and voices, and almost mute the other sounds (I don't mind a sound to register I clicked on something, or whatever), but that's about it.The first thing that I do with every game, is turn off the sound in the game.

I generally just turn off the BGM in RPGM games. Some VNs actually to benefit from the music in some scenes. I really only turn off SFX when a creator starts spamming them because "funny"The first thing that I do with every game, is turn off the sound in the game.
Depends on the game for me. It's almost always way too loud, but that aside, it comes down to whether it really does anything for the ambiance. It's a weak part of HH IMO--not bad, really, but it just doesn't do anything for the experience with very limited exceptions (and I think Runey knows this, as there are notes in the game to the effect of, "hey, you really might want to turn on your sound for this next part"). OTOH, it's very well-done in Eternum--I'd started playing that with the music off (after having played HH), and started over when I realized what I was missing.I generally just turn off the BGM in RPGM games.
After 18, before 20, we are currently on 0.18.2, so that might take some time to to rise to 19(.0.0).When's Version 19?
It's a fair question, ignore the sarcastic replies. When's Version 19?
Before or after he himself post here the new update of the game?Runey apparently just got back from one of his famous illnesses. You know, the ones where he just can't work on the game for seven weeks, doesn't communicate anything about it until afterwards, and pretends he isn't just trying to keep people on the $10 Patreon tier a little longer.
1. Piracy is immaterial, the full release of the game is free. Before or after he himself post here the new update of the game?
I found it very amusing that one of the few devs that is/was active here, interact with the community, post the game for free here, getting shit by some of the very same community. I don't know what he currently is doing or what the might or not might have, but my stance with this is the same since the beginning.

- We are dirty pirates
- We shall be happy with almost any of the devs that are here and interact with us
- We shall be even more happy if any devs release their game here for free themself
- We shall not attack the dev in person or any of his supporters for the only reason they support him (it is their money to do so)
- We have every right to decide with our feet, regardless if we are supporter or not
- We should try to be civilised
You're wrong. In the past he was here, we talked with him, then as often, his visit become more seldom and even more.2. Runey doesn't post anything here except the occasional comment, and tbqh, he doesn't come off great in most of them. 3.IDK what you're on about, we DL the game with same links as everyone else, and it's weird that you're acting like it's some great service he does for the F95 boards in particular.
If you don't like something, don't support it aka buying or download it and playing. Therefore, decide with your feet. And no, I don't have a stroke every time some strange kebab in a space suit write something on a message board.5. This makes no sense, did you have a stroke? If you're trying to express I'm free to leave, that's true, but I'm also free to stay.
Yes, I do like giving answer to questions that we have been answer by themself if their use a little of their own time and check the links in the OP (Patreon, Discord, Twitter, SubscribeStar or itch.io). Or I can simple state unknown as it is 100% precise but also 100% unhelpful, alternative would be ?, perhaps and a vary more of the same, regardless in how many words you write it, the answer to "WhEn UpDaTe?" is simple unknown.6. We should! Like not gaslighting people about what's going on when they ask a fair question (standard for this thread).
Agreed, but let's be honest, some people just like to cause issues.

Updates come when they come. Asking when it's coming will, at best, delay the actual release. Best case scenario.6. We should! Like not gaslighting people about what's going on when they ask a fair question (standard for this thread).
If you want to micromanage employees- which any good manager would tell you is a terrible idea- you should contract out a studio, not pretend that paying 10 bucks on a Patreon entitles you to that. If you dislike the idea of supporting this project.... don't? There's free releases and the dev usually produces huge amounts of content per update. You know, the ones where he just can't work on the game for seven weeks, doesn't communicate anything about it until afterwards, and pretends he isn't just trying to keep people on the $10 Patreon tier a little longer.
First of all: I AM A STACK OF FLUFFY GOLDEN PANCAKES, AND I HAVE BEEN TO SPACE! WHO THE F#%& ARE YOU?You're wrong. In the past he was here, we talked with him, then as often, his visit become more seldom and even more.

IDK where to even start with this...Worst case scenario it significantly delays releases when people who are irrationally impatient are consuming a dev's time because they have to be told what they probably already knew. It'll come when it comes.
Especially a game like Harem Hotel which has a notoriously slow development cycle. Especially when dealing with people who feel entitled to know every little detail of a person's life and who when being told a person was out of commission for 7 weeks, responds, "Bullshit, this is a conspiracy!" Incidentally, your life sounds spoiled if you've never lived with someone who can go whole weeks maybe only having one or two 'good' days where they're symptom free and not drugged out of their mind dealing with the 'bad' days.

People want to pay for it. If you're not paying for it.... tough? And after expenses he's probably not pulling six figures. Being self employed ain't cheap and depending on where he lives he's either paying for his own health insurance or he lives somewhere he'd probably WANT to pay for private insurance. To say nothing of how he's either paying for help or he's doing everything himself, in which case the development speed makes perfect sense. This game has an *absurd* development cycle for what it is, he's making six figures a year off of this very basic VN, and has been doing so for 5 years.
Chronic conditions are like that. You might not like it but there's not a convenient cure for everything out there and sometimes the cure is as bad as the disease. There's whole classes of illnesses that boil down to, 'lmao I don't have an immune system.'Which is weird, because all I did was point out that he dipped out for 7 weeks with a flimsy excuse (which he has a history of doing).
It's never just asking about an update. And they'd get to interact with people like you who is either paying for something they don't want- can't help you there, have you considered not paying?- or is upset that something they're not paying for isn't being developed at the pace they want. In which case, deal with it. You're whining about a free product.Unless he's stalking these boards like a creep, people asking about updates here costs him 0 time.
Usually when you don't like something, you just ignore it.Third: Just because I can leave, doesn't mean I have to, I can also stay, and point out what I am seeing.
