It’s good writing, no doubt! But it’s something I simply don’t fancy. If I want to see religious nutjobs doing horrible stuff and trying to force others to follow their misguided and misinterpreted believes I turn on the TV :/
I don’t feel this epiphany hit hard so far - finished the Autumn story line in the last release, am I missing some content?
I understand ya mate … after suffering it IRL many many many (X infinity) times. I literally hate the BS that is organized religion and all the hypocrites in it.
Thats where HH story picks up (for me) and then it seems there will be a big middle finger to it all.
Which is glorious! The one consolation is at least in HH there are very real (in the story) mystical “something’s” that have been co-opted/perverted into Autumns organized religion.
So yes I hate it, it sucks (IRL) but that’s where the HH fantasy work picks up & seeing a gem like Autumn get corrupted/awakened to its bullshit is Gold.
Maybe it hits harder for me because I actually was a Catholic school-girls first and over the next 2 years I was the lucky beneficiary of her sexual awakening. Later also experienced that Mormon girls can have very similar awaking with regards to such peccadillos. I was also better at escorting those poor indoctrinated, brain washed, obedient girls with their sexual awakening.
The common wisdom (stereotype) is that (at least initially) when church girls(Catholic & Mormon) go bad they go VERY VERY VERY BAD and It’s not a completely wrong stereotype. A lot depends on how strict & uptight the parents are and how whacked the religion is.
So … I was trying via my post to help you relax (with regards to fantasy at least) about it.
I even went for bonus points using key terms … epiphany, up ass(anal), glorious, & finally peccadillo!!
… the definition of which is as follows.

My hope those efforts to use ”church” words was appreciated and just another way to poke organized religion in the eye & gain chuckles.
I doubt you missed much if any content in game.
I encourage diving into the fantasy ride of HH & divorce yourself from real world bullshit of the various bible thumping hypocrites/religions.
Enjoy what promises to be a lot of entertaining future updates. I agree that the development & building of it in HH wasn’t my favorite… but we are past that now & it needed to be done to a degree to get the most satisfying payoff.
