I remember that was when I kinda fizzled out. I don't hate the game and still check it out (Like right now) when it updates but I haven't really mustered up the will to continue just yet either.
I imagine I'll need to restart the game from the beginning if I ever do play it again. I've forgotten some of the details.
For me I still really like the game and the characters. Not a single girl in the hotel I don't like for one reason or another. I really want to one day see all their stories come to their conclusion. But what's killing me is the slowing down of releases over the years. With those sporadic releases there tends to be not a lot of main plot development. HH is definitely not the only game to slow down releases over the years. And I don't think Runey is doing it for more dubious reasons like some other devs, this game is his baby. I think he really just wants to develop his story and his characters. Plus, I think burnout is a perfectly reasonable reason to prolong releases. But I definitely remember the days we were getting a release every one or two months. With content for each girl. It's hard to stay really invested in a game when you only go back to it once or twice a year.

That's been the case for more games than ever. It's sad, but it is what it is. I really miss the pre-COVID era ETA's for games.
Yeah there's only one dev I know of with any of the games I follow that has still somehow managed to keep to a monthly update release schedule for years now (left signature). Which works for me because his games are in my opinion some of the best written AVNs. But it's unbelievably rare post-covid to have anything close to that kind of schedule. Which I get. Most of these devs if they do this for a living aren't exactly making enough to run a full studio. So it's mostly one person shows with contracted out help. Easy to see how regular releases could be a little too much to ask for.

When you have certain groups, in the US for example, preaching that "slavery wasn't SO bad..." maybe an occasional reminder is warranted. I mean, seriously. Have you seen PragerU lately? There's saying the quiet part out loud and then there's cartoon Christopher Columbus outright saying "slavery is better than death."

If you don't like political messages in media, stop consuming media (it's all political in some way these days). If something makes you mad, try stepping back for a bit and work out WHY it makes you mad exactly. And if "slavery is bad" is the problem message for you, maybe you're the problem. Go play a slave training game, or better yet, download HS/HS2 and make your own story. Rub those last 2 brain cells together and pray for a spark of creativity.
Why don't you follow your own advice, and rub your only 2 brain cells together, and notice how all the recent media that has artificially injected this social programming into their movies/games/tv shows etc, has suffered enormous losses?
Or is it asking too much of you?

But I guess these days, it's a radical statement that you want to enjoy something without being preached on, about poverty/slavery/bigotry or whatever is the daily grievance.

"I don't want people to remind me that racism and social inequality exist! Gimme titties!"

That's you. That's what you sound like.

Escapism is a thing. In fact, it is the thing people want when engaging with any work of fiction, which includes this game. If you can't grasp that, then why do you even have basic sapience to begin with?

Can't see a problem here. We are on a site dedicated to "titties" after all. Some people don't like to be cucked in their porn, others don't like political messaging in it.

I get where you're coming from. But this game isn't really a recent media. It's 2018-2020 era game, that's drugging it's feet for far too long. So, it's not really fair.

The purpose of this aspect of media, the entertainment side, is to entertain, not to get the creators political message or views. By the way when such media consume is stopped, it's the creators are the one that whines the most about it (see movies or games and their studios, directors, actors, etcs reaction when it flops).

3agrap997 I'm sorry, but what was the point of your "post," dude? Why just quote someone without even saying anything in response to their post?

Mega is only free for downloads up to 5 GB, this is 14. Gofile is probably the best bet here
I think Mega gets too much hate, a free account and Megasynch means that even after that 5 GB expires you can resume the download once the timer goes off.
Personally I use a VPN so I can juggle between IPs and keep downloading

Yep. Other sites may be faster, but with my unstable connection, I find Mega with the app much more reliable. Plus, if you're on a mobile network, you don't even need a VPN. Just reconnect to the network, by switching on/off airplane mode, and you have a new IP. Really works well, if you have an unlimited data plan.
