Can someone give me a rundown of where we are in the story? Have we emancipated the elves yet? Have androids taken over the planet?

Oh one more thing. I finished Lin route first before Jin. Now I can't go to the city to purchase Jin gardening tool due to city lockdown & martial law. Is there a solution to this problem?

You can use the Universal Ren'Py Mod to force the game to use the "city open" path while the lockdown=true variable is still set.
