The Relationship stat is tracking how many events have gone by. The max will be whatever Runey decides, I am sure it can change. That said, we ARE close to the end of some stories.

Sorry, I think I wasn't clear. I was saying that I was checking the mod option to tweak the stats of the girls (I didn't change it as to not fuck up the save, was just checking), and all of them go up only to a max of 50. And as of current update, Lin is at 47/50. That is why I was asking if he was planning for 50 events, or if it was just a random limit he put in at the beginning of the game, but could change.

Ending some stories does not mean the end of the game, for sure. In theory he could just keep adding rooms/floors until he gets bored. He said once that 8 main characters was about his limit, so ending one could add more. Hard to say what he has in mind, though we do still have at least one more character being added *soon*.

That makes sense. Since the game was already so far into the story, I just thought he had given up on adding someone to the last bedroom, or even add new girls at all. Does this only apply to main girls? Or could new side girls also come in? It makes me wonder who would the last main girl be, and the new side girls as well, if any of them could be girls we have met before. Some of Kali's classmates come to mind, but maybe Vanessa is already enough. We do have a scene with the sisters on the beach though. I wonder if the twin's big sister would also be a possibility, possibily for a side girl, but I'm probably just dreaming.

Also, considering we are at the end of some stories, but the game can continue, will we get an full ending for each main girl, or will we only get a true ending when all the stories finish, so we can get a harem ending? Since the game basically makes it so that you have to advance some girls stories in order to advance others, I always assumed that the original idea was to have a harem ending with all of them. Which I have no problem with, I like all the main girls, and even all the side girls, they are all quite fun and unique in their own way, even though some are a bit annoying in the beginning, all of them eventually grew on me (mainly Felicity being a bitch in the start, and Autumn with her religion and judging everyone in the hotel did annoy me a bit). But I have seen people complaining about how they can't reject girls, and that they don't like some of them, so not sure how Runey will deal with that.

That won't change, he won't let anyone be rejected. But with a few exceptions, you don't have to fuck them much either, and never outside of the main story (and there are less of those now than there used to be).

Could be. Some side girls are directly related to some of the main girls, but not all of them have one, and some even have more than one. Kali has Vanessa and Lucy, and although Jin is the main one for Lin, I would put Nia and Sylvia for her as well. We get introduced to Kate because of Ashley, and Hana through Maria. That leaves Moon and Ellen as the only ones not directly related to a main girl.

It would be nice to have side girls from the other main girls. I guess Ellen is related to Android, but she was there from the beginning of the hotel, even before we met Android. The twins have no one, so their sister could be a possibility. Maybe after the resolution of their plot, she either moves into the hotel, or maybe just start hanging around in order to keep an eye on her sisters.. I was also considering Juliet, since she has ties to Ashley, Kate and the twins. For Autumn I supose the obvious choice would be Hazel, but right now she annoys me to no end, she would need to go through a big change like Autumn, maybe even a bigger one, in order to become a decent person. I don't know how big of a harem Runey would be willing to go for when it comes to the side girls, but there are some that appear that could be quite interesting. I'm pretty sure Autumn was just a random Barista in the sandbox exploration Corpus Cafe before she became a main girl. And I thought Saint Abby would join in at some point, since there are some exploration events with her.

Ally is still a child and in a plastic frame, and even after she changes frames and becomes an adult, she is still Android's child, so maybe it would be a bit weird. And Sunny is a cat xD. And like I said, Hazel would need a few events to pull the stick out of her ass. Hana, Jin and Luci are the only ones with decent interaction with MC.

For me it was mostly the follow up knife event with Maria that killed basically any interest in Ashley for me. Went scorched Earth way to damn soon and when we have other ladies with similar figures, maybe not exact, I'd rather spend time with them.

Fair. About the sleep rape thing, it didn't bother me at all, as long as the girl is attractive to me, I don't really mind the situation. But I understand that it is a matter of taste and point of view, so I respect who completely shuts down for her after that.

And the knife situation was pretty wild as well, but the point of Ashley in the beginning was to fill the yandere personality type, so from the start I was expecting some wild shit from her. It surprises me that she didn't do things much more fucked up, but I think if she had gone too far, people would be even more put off by her. Also, after getting to know her story better, it is not excusable, but it becomes more understandable. She never felt loved by anyone in her life, she grew up in a dangerous place, with a father that if she allowed, would probably beat the shit out of her, so it makes sense she would go too far to protect the only person who has ever shown her any kindness.

I think it would be great if players could choose how to react in some situations, specially situations like these. I love this game, but my biggest problem with it is the lack of player agency and the blandness of the MC. Most of the choices the game offers you are just dialogue fluff. There should be options to call out Ashley for her behaviour. I know the main focus of the game is on the girls, but the MC is the players' avatar in this world, and him just being a no personality goes with the flow guy is kinda bland for me, and it is irritating in some situations as well. I wouldn't even ask for much player agency, since I am interested in all the girls anyways, but at least some semblance of personality from MC would be interesting. He could be smart, he could be stupid, he could be strong, he could be angry, calculating, reckless. Anything really. But he feels mostly like a blank sheet of paper. Sometimes he shows some personality or initiative, like when he brings the gun to Lowtown, or when he gets pissed at Cornwal because of what happens to Maria, but it is mostly just a bunch of nothing.

It is specially bad when there is a big problem that needs to be taken care of, but the MC just goes with the flow until the girls just solve everything by themselves. And in some cases that is ok, most of Android's problems he can't do anything about, other than offer her his support, but in some cases it pisses me off, and the biggest case is Felicity and Emma. When they start to catfight for his attention. Sure, giving people time and space to work through their problems and trusting their capacity to do it is a great thing. But this is the type of shit that can break the dynamic of a harem, and saying "I'm going to talk to her", then kissing, or fucking one of the girls behind the other one's back, fueling their jealousy for each other is not really the best way to go about it.

Yandere, one of the only tropes I dislike more than a Type A Tsundere (the violent kind).
While she had few decent role models, the way she shunned her 'real friends', in order to try to impress F&E, also really upset me. Not entirely her fault, but she also doesn't have anyone else to blame, it was her own actions that caused her own pain there. I don't hate her any more, but I will never find her attractive like this (though going back to her natural hair color helps some).

Haven't seen it, so I can't really say if I'd care for her or not. I'm not against crazy in the right story telling context. I'm sure it doesn't help that when I started playing, there were basically only 4 characters and Kali/Maria came out gate swinging hard, personality wise, and Lin is about as balanced proportionally as you could get and has pointy ears and I love me some elves.

And even Maria wasn't there right away. She came in as you played Ashley's story.
Honestly, that was her one redeeming quality to me back then, she introduced us to Maria.

There are characters like that in a few games I play, I just can't enjoy some of their scenes. lol

I want to place her ontop of the hotel with a high powered rifle and some long range artillery with the fairies working as spotters for taking out enemy units before the arrive. Pixel can handle short/medium range combat. Put her anger management, possessive qualities and need to harm things to work. Could even make it a new cliche repeatable sex event - how good is her aim when she's being teased/distracted. I might actually spend time with her and level it up.
