So... here's a thought that randomly came to mind:
what separates
>an incomplete game that hasn't updated in a long time
vs
>an incomplete game that is considered "abandoned"

Just wondering. I'm not trying to claim this is an abandoned game or something.

HI RUNEY Can you add me back to discord server
As I told you before, he doesn't (really) come here any more, he got tired of people bitching about stupid bullshit.
You will need to ask him on Discord. He can't do shit without your Discord ID anyway.
So, for the 4th time, you will need to contact him there.

Just to correct two things: Runey comes still here (login as much as I see) and if he wanted that Runey had a chance to see it, he would have to made sure that he mentioning one way or another more than just writing Runey.

Same opinion here as RPDL. I mean I know that he didn't really post here any more and in most case it just sucks if a dev don't post here any more cause I see it as a big boon if we have them here and active. That makes is one of the big difference between your regular pirate community and the zone (or it was one of the big difference:cry:).

Right, right, made a small correction. ;) Thanks.
But he stopped interacting with us here thanks to all the hate he got when his dad died and all that.

There are official guidelines for when a game gets an abandoned tag around somewhere. From memory, for a game to be tagged abandoned, at least one of these needs to be true:
- the game hasn't been updated in 18 months
- the developer has gone dark (not just here, but wherever they're around)
- the developer has declared the game dead
Also, a mod or similar needs to choose to apply the tag.

Particularly calling them if you have the time to wait on hold - tying up their call centres so they can't deal with routine business calls is going to have way more of an impact than sending an email they can set up a filter to trash. Physical mail would also work, particularly if you pay for registered mail that an employee has to sign for.

If you do call, bear in mind that the person you're talking to is not the enemy - if anything, they're probably on our side - so be polite and friendly, but do also try to drag out the call as much as possible to maximise the impact. Part of the idea is to make a denial of service attack on their phone lines.
