Not immediately, I guess, but second floor for the hotel, the sanctuary, and a few elves get up there in price--and all are necessary in order for the story to progress past a certain point. Though I guess that point is a bit of a way into the story.

But fortunately, Kali's my favorite LI, so focusing on her isn't much of a hardship.

2nd floor is "cheap" - Sanctuary isn't needed early on and you should be able to get the bar off the ground before needing it(even if it's not fully upgraded, it's still solid money). I normally restart every version (didn't for v19) and my goto is always: story required store items for Kali -> 2nd floor -> bar and I've never felt like I needed to grind money. With the bowling deliveries, even more so. I haven't sold a pinup of the girls since like v12, they just get saved on the MC's personal computer for personal use

I always assumed the main reason you were given the money in that story event was strictly to get Sanctuary started and because at the time, money was super slow to get.

There was one other post in the last few pages asking the same question but I saw no response or follow up if it had worked. If you're using the beta version, you might want to join Runey's discord and ask there to confirm if it's a bug. Otherwise, it's whatever the internal timing triggers are.

Yes, several people. It's a bug with the patch version.

Search is your friend! You can go to "advanced" and set it to go by date rather than relevance. A quick search for "Nia sanctuary" links to many of the previous posts asking this same question.

v0.19_PR1 means v0.19_pre-relase-1 (it's a preliminary version prior to official public release, to test for bugs)

v0.19 is the public release. Likely many bugs were fixed, then it was released.

V0.19.1 means that some bugs were found in v0.19, then were fixed in v0.19.1

Nia: using the walk through mod? Update it.
Jin: she maxes out until you start doing the garden. It's kinda hit/miss when triggering those scenes though, but she won't progress until you've gotten her cleaned up and working.

I'm assuming he's in the slave route, which has been fixed in v0.19.1 to display 9/9 in the menu.

when removing or installing any mod for any game requires a restart but if you dont want to restart use urm but if you are stuck on this screen try starting over if still like that reinstall the game and dont use the mod and report the issu in the mods thread
