We have the main lounge already, which barely gets any actual use(non-story related use). Runey is king of introducing a dozen different areas to do something with and... not doing anything with them. I fear this will just be another. The girls have spent how long just standing around in the hot springs? Now they can stand around behind an arcade cabinet? Woo.

When was the last time the girls went and relaxed in the backyard? lol

The phone makes sense, going back to the pc for every little thing, or having to go to their rooms to ask for a nude, feels kinda off, but at the same time it certainly is kinda late for that.
The lounge imo would tie the whole place together and make it feel like an actual hotel, it's something that was definitely missing.
I don't care much for the trait system upgrade because it's a given that Runey can simply add more trait-related scenes instead of upgrading a whole system, but I guess people like this idea a lot.
Turning the dungeon into an actual game and tying it with the lust system speaks to me specifically, some of the dungeon scenes are among the best in the game.

Well the game absolutely needs the music update. I'd argue that'd waaay more important than the rest.

Regardless just looking at all of this I certainly don't envy any sanbox solo devs...

It's cool that Runey has all those ideas on how to expand the free roam bits of the game, but while reading the post I couldn't help but keep thinking "okay, but who exactly is going to implement that stuff?"
All those slice-of-life additions, which have little to no impact on the story development, are exactly the kind that would greatly benefit from having an extra dev, but Runey refuses to hire someone else.

I'd rather have him focus on the extra areas that are already present but haven't seen any meaningful use, or that last resident on the 2nd floor (this one feels more and more like it's gonna get axed; the longer he takes, the harder it gets to integrate said character in the game).

I'm sure many wouldn't like it but if I'm Runey I'm just finishing the story in a near linear fashion and then moving on from HH.

The visuals grow more outdated by the date, the more branches and features just mean more dev time each update, along with the creative vision clearly becoming more and more of a story game.

I think from the start HH should've been the banging tropey girls in public like it cleary was from the start (for those who have been playing since before the beginning was pretty much totally redone lol) and Runey could've made a different game with better visuals and audio for the political sci-fi drama that it's becoming.

But yeah again: solo dev + sandbox = a waste of everyone's time imo. Just too much and the amount of work is on a J-shaped curve for both the player and dev

Most devs here don't understand how much music can change a game, so I don't blame you for muting, I have most games muted myself because it usually takes away from the atmosphere.

That said I know more and more "public audio domains" are starting to only use CC4 licenses (can't use for porn) so it's also really hard to get good music without shilling some cash out.

I dont really get this complaint, the game sure has a bit of rough backgrounds, but as for all the actual important stuff its one of the best designed and animated porn VNs I've ever played.

We have many more games with better graphic, that's what I am saying. And also : I started playing this game when I was a kid and now I am ready to get retired...7 or 8 years to complete a game is simply too much.

Personally, I think that while the game isn't the best looking, it is by no means massively outdated. My only gripe for this game is how long it is between updates that don't seem to really add much new. I want more Sylvia and Nia content.

i dont get this either, i have yet to find another 3d VN on here with graphics even comparable to this. in all other VNs all the characters either have dead eyes, are stiff, or are abominations not fit for human sight. this one they have life in their eyes and are animated well. my only real complain might be the teeth can look a bit odd sometimes.

I vaguely want to say there was an option way back that you had the option to free her and she gets all emotionally upset that you're trying to get rid of her. It's entirely just a dialogue sequence basically showing her growth/dependency on the MC, but nothing more than that.

Hi all, my compressed unofficial Android port of Harem Hotel v0.19.1 with Maid Lain walkthrough, cheats, additional events and gallery mod updated by JGNeon

Usual gestures, save name/delete, seethru textbox, resizeable game and dialogue text.
Scrollable textbox - no more text off the bottom of your screen
Note: Quick Menu is not always active, swipe up on the screen to access the game menu if you need to.

Special Instructions:

Install apk.
Alternative persistent saves/log location
Grant storage permissions on first run!
On first run you will get a prompt to copy the archive.rpa file to "documents/Wills747/harem.hotel/game" folder.
(game will quit now)
Copy the rpa file to the directory indicated in game.
Restart the game.
Keep in mind if your default install location is an actual SD card and slow speed this may slow the launch.

Keep archive.rpa if you can, I'll use it for future updates to keep the apk size small.
