Amazing game and I loved it until the 3 elves knocked MC out and kidnapped him and then actually had the audacity to ask him for help and waste money on them, and youre forced to accept, ugh.

Nothing screams "wimp" more than trying to help people who were hostile and injured you.

Now im on the fence on whether to continue this or not, will the MC remain a wimp or will he smarten up?

Helping those who hurt you require more strength than rejecting them but ok.
Anyway, there's a "treat them like slave" option, if you insist on perpetuating the cycle of violence

If you want to talk about being a man, consider protecting and helping those who need it even if they do hurt you. Like MC did. Don't cry about it and let it blind you. Only "wimps" would have such an emotional reaction to some pain.

If you use an older mod on version 16.2 of the game, you will break the game 100% of the time.
There is no mod that will work for version 16.2 of Harem Hotel.
Also, tweaking the girls stats can break the game or cause players to miss events, since the girls stats can trigger events..
The dev who was working on the mod was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment, so it may be a while before we see an update for it.

If you use an older mod on version 16.2 of the game, you will break the game 100% of the time.
There is no mod that will work for version 16.2 of Harem Hotel.
Also, tweaking the girls stats can break the game or cause players to miss events, since the girls stats can trigger events..

my apologies, i know about lord ashram treatment, i just think that the old mod will work but seem like some of the remake part from the game make the old mod doesn't work anymore. Sorry for my question, i didn't ask this with intent to trouble lord ashram or any modder.

No, old mods pretty much never worked for this one, even before the remakes. That is the case with most freeroam style games.

about that, the reason why i ask this question is some of the game i play before when using similar mod is still working with old version for example: mythic manor (i use mod 0.18 for 0.19, don't know why is work, can still use the cheat, but the walkthrough just stop at 0.18 for the obvious reason), and the most recent game i play with similar mod is dropout saga, the old version mod still work with the new version (the walkthrough also stop at that old version) so i though maybe harem hotel old mod can still work (agains, sorry about my stupidness)

They are three "mod" types than can work, if mod version < game version:

• Walkthrough mod
• Incest mod
• Any mod the modder declare to function with any version of the game

As stated this is can and not must. A game dev can always intented or unintended, so any previous mod won't work anymore. Also modder can miss something and a lot of other reasons a game with a old mod can become non functional.
As for Lord Ashram's mod, it was a "full" type mod, thus no suprise, it won't work with a newer version of the game.

The mod for this one was not just a walkthough a cheat mod, but as I understand it, also added in other things, with all need to work with the updated game. Including adding back some non-canon scenes. The more complicated the mod is, the more likely that it will need to be updated each time.

I mean, Bethesda can break mods just by updating their store.

I know that feel... I was like that countless times... Solvalley, House Arrest, Mythic Manor and now Harem Hotel... Never before, wasting time was so worth it.

I recently checked out My Cute Cousin/Roomate and, while the faces (oh god why) are weird and the game is on the grindy side, I liked it a lot! Story is somewhat consistent (even if I had to turn my suspension of disbelief all the way down sometimes) and enjoyable, minigames are fun (only the store working one gets boring after a while, but it pays good, so whatever). While not really a DAZ fan, that game got me hooked longer than most.

Sisterly Lust is also nice and has believable girls (at least on the main cast) personality-wise, especially the younger and older sisters. My only grip (and that's the same as almost every WEG) is that every other guy besides MC is a jerk. I mean, can't we have a secondary male character, or even a rival, who isn't a complete jerk, alpha male wannabe or a complete virgin dork. Hmmm... Now that I think about it... Even my own game suffers from it... Huh, Ideas for later, I guess...

Oh yeah, there's also My Sister, My Roomate! I like how every girl on that game has a distinct personality and, while they have independent storylines, they all converge at some point. @Sumodeine really hit the nail on the head with that, kudos to him.



I think the main reason for pregnancy being an "endgame" feature it that it's really hard to implement (story and, somewhat, gameplay-wise).

While pregnancy as a fetish is nice and understandable, in a game with at least a hint of serious plot, it would also come with a lot of stuff that wouldn't be neglected or it would feel... Dumb.

Things like time-skips would have to be, at least, taken into consideration. And, if not, you would have to considerably change dialogues and old renders for random events to reflect the pregnancy.

And after all that, when the kid is born, you would have to keep him around, at least minimally. If you want your game to be taken seriously, even if it's a porn game, you can't have a girl getting pregnant and then it never being mentioned again.

I may be overthinking it too much tho, blame that on my obsessive compulsion with details and consistency.

this game can have pregnancy ; just create a nursery building where the MC can goto ; when he gets there and clicks on the building , one or more pages will show up with all the females he has gotten pregnant that 1] keeps track if she is pregnant or not 2] if the baby was boy or girl and 3] keep a running total of the number of children he has and how many were boys , girls or twins -- no need to create names for the little ones just that they were born

There was enough feedback from players that the v0.15 mod and the v0.16.1 beta mod didn't work for v0.16.2 and this is why links to both were removed. Because of the complexity of both the game and the mod, errors could happen anywhere.

Again, this wasn't theoretical but based on actual results. Long-time players would strongly suggest that you start a new playthrough without a mod and, even if one of the modders starts work on the mod again, you'll have a 'clean' save that you can use going forward that isn't going to make you wait for mods that might never materialize.
