It's probably abandoned, again. There was a post about having to take care of a family member or something and they won't be able to work on it for an undetermined amount of time and then nothing. Though as you can see every site used to generate money for the project are still open... I think if they don't even know themselves how long they will be indisposed they should pause them, but that's just me.

I think this is goinna be another casualty of the Artist Syndrome, where they get excited about "designs" but once they've got the characters appearances and background figured out all that icky writing and coding stuff becomes the bulk of their time and they lose interest.
I think it's dead, Jim. A "reboot" is a bad sign ("my code is terrible, I can't remember how this works, let me start over, and oh yeah while I'm in there I get to UPDATE THE DESIGNS WOOO"), and ghosting your paying fans is the worst sign.

I agree there are little hope that this game will ever be finished.
But Vasilisa didn't ghost her paying fans.
She warned us that she had to take care of a member family and wouldn't be able to work on the game from the time being.
So implying she's milking her supporter is totally unfair.

I'm aware, I was a patron at the time. She last said something back in January. I'm not accusing her of milking anything, I'm saying she's ghosting. "I will be out for a bit" followed by nothing for a year is, while _technically_ true, pretty misleading; people are paying a monthly sub expecting you to come back in a few weeks or maybe months. Once it's clear that's not going to happen, at a minimum the appropriate thing to do is fire off a quick post saying "Guys it's gonna be a while, keep paying me if you want to be supportive and I'd appreciate it, but the game is on hiatus and might not come back."
