They're shooting themselves in the knee as well, games that would be great if they were actually worked on when they were first released are totally out of date and bland now. These guys had the opportunity to strenghten their brand and create a sustainable moneyflow but they instead choose to cling on to the latest bit of miniscule capital they get from delusional people that still think the game is being worked on.
Just to give you a perspective, NLT media released 3 games and is already well into the 4th, while these guys couldnt be arsed to write a glorified visual novel.
But it's not their fault when there are a bunch of dumbasses throwing money at them still. 3k a month to release a .1 update in 7 months. They are preparing for a steam release too so you can bet your ass they will milk all the coomers on steam for what they are worth.
Damn, because of the name I confuse it with another "normal" game. But it's simply impossible to play this one, the combat is so stuffy and there's so much of it that no content is needed...)

3k a month is nothing, how much do you think hiring voice actors and artists cost?
I don't know if it is a solo dev, but even as a solo dev he ain't making much money if you take into account having to hire people to work on various parts of the game.

3k a month for doing jack shit is a lot. Either scale down your operation so that 3k a month can sustain your game or actually work on your game so that more people are willing to support it.
Not a lot of people are going to support your game if they know they are getting 10 pages' worth of reading material and an extra new swimsuit for a random character every half a year at best.

Somehow I get summertime saga vibes. Their new tech update is now what.. 2 years in work? 3 years? And they get 4 digits very month and do absolutely nothing. Its so sad to see.
Eh, atleast that game had semi regular content dense updates before they decided to move everything to ren'py, I do have a little bit more careful hope that they at some point will regularize their schedule again, even though It is definitely possible that game will also become an abandoned dream too.
Unless you’re an active patron, I don’t think you really have the right to complain how the money is being used. Those 3k/month patrons seem to think their money is being well spent, and it’s impolite to assume they aren’t happy with their financial choices. It’s a bit judgmental.
And if you are a patron, then just stop supporting them. That’s it. Easy as hell.
She should be accessible (has been for a while), but she might be story locked, I want to say until Chapter 3 or 4 but maybe sooner
