Last I know the dev was planning to make a new version that takes the criticism into account.
That was before the thread was labeled abandoned, though.
If he does, he should stick to three LIs split path. Seven LIs split path is unworkable. That means drop Dina. She did not raise interest and only served as a rallying cry that the dev forced you to choose between ugly monogamous LI or attractive girls who sleep around.
I was looking forward this game nice renders and story such a shame the dev is too sensitive for critism
Might have to do with lacking patrons too. Should have stuck it out. What did he expect for v0.1. Even the best release AVN this year, Tides of Succession, has a scant 15 patrons for v0.1.

I generally don't think paths are a good idea. Individual scene paths are one thing, but "routes" are usually not a good idea for an update based game.
Every route splits a big part of the content, so an update where a developer made 40% scenes for all, 20% per love interest for a total of 100% of the update content, any player following a single route will only see 60% of the work the dev did.
For a 7 LI split, this would be something like barely more than 50%.

This generally will make updates seem a lot smaller to the player than they actually are. The result of this content-splitting is that updates seem small, progress little and doesn't seem worth playing - discouraging patreons to resubscribe and instead having them wait a couple months for more content to be worth immersing themselves in the game again.

Update based indie development has to be done very carefully when it comes to routes, in my opinion. Games that aren't updated but fully released and sold are different, because they don't feature this trickle content. But they're generally not support by patreon-models but follow the traditional publisher/investment financing.

That's usually one of the great things about harem games. They don't have paths, they just have choices of what content you want to see (what LIs to have) and how that content should unfold (kink/fetish), allowing players to go back & try a different path without having to skip through the entire game from the start.

My guess? Since they seem to be intend to overhaul the game from the start, there won't be an update for quite some time, and that means it would be quite a while before the rerelease and even longer before the first update follows. So any patreon would have to be very patient and wouldn't see any reward for their support anytime soon.

agreed, splitting 7 Li paths and split side girls (fuckboi path) is a lot, plus adding a harem tag didn't help either when you choose anyways

Well, the people praising this game here should have put their money where their mouth is because nobody showed up to support the dev, so it got abandoned.
Geez, abandoned already? Didn't even last a month
Who else is shocked, right ??:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: We're all soo supportive until it's time to put that money where our keyboards are... suddenly, it's everyone for themselves lol. But anyway, a lil honesty and professionalism go a long way in this business. Admittedly, the dev made a lot of mistakes other users have already pointed out, none of those mistakes are something that can't be fixed up with a few tweaks here and there to the story tho.

Sad to see the game being presumably abandoned and definitely hope the dev reconsiders it and at least tries to salvage it, but as long as some much-needed changes ain't being made to turn the game into either a full-on NTR game or an actual non NTR/romance-focused one, the end result won't look any better than it currently does.:cautious:

Well. that was a very good starting build, with distinct models, great graphics and all the needed ingredients to make this one enjoyable.
But dev prolly did not take into account that you have to build rep first and even that does not guarantee you success, a lot of project with similar approach died pretty fast and there is a lot more to come before AI eats this industry for good.
We'll see if this one will actually get back to life, but for now - another wasted attempt to do a decent VN I guess.

Hopefully the dev comes around. Not counting on it though. This sucks. Played the first part and put it right onto my follow list because it looked like it had great potential. I might have supported this one in a release or two if it kept going in the direction it seemed to be going. But, boom. Gone.
Don't know if the dev didn't get the instant thousands of supporters he might have expected, or if commenters got to him or what. But man, two things some of these devs got to learn - build a following, ignore the F95 idiots

....lol that died fast.......
...and zero lessons will be learned

See you all onto the next one where new dev will do the same and the same circle jerkers will drag the dev and his 'vision' into the ground once more, just in the off chance the other side doesn't get a win. They somehow managed to find a more pathetic character trait than being corner armchair enjoyers. :HideThePain:

This is good and it's a shame they've stopped (also, weird smug reaction to say 'I know how to do this better..' when someone talented abandons a good project)
