Join the Kimber crew!

Based on how I understand it, there's two paths.
  • Relationship Path: 1 LI only
  • Fuckboy Path: fuck the promiscuous girls all you want but none of the main LIs will want a relationship with you
So right now, the choices as I understand it would be:
  • Your girlfriend is Kimber; or
  • Your girlfriend is Dina; or
  • Your girlfriend is Sakura; or
  • You fuck around with Heaven, Mercedes, Alba, and Nikki, and not be in a relationship. They will have sex with you, with other men, probably group sex too
Or wait for the last 4 possible girlfriends to be revealed (Whether they are new girls to be introduced, or someone we've already met).

Actually, you're right. What was the dev thinking, holding a gun to your head and making you pick all the girls? It's not like you could choose not to do anything with her! And the sex scene is forced on you with multiple pictures! Multiple pictures! Only in one of three options do you never see them together, and when you do see them together, it's multiple pictures!

It's actually pretty bold and heroic that you're raising your voice!
Now some people might be afraid that immediately labeling a few (multiple!) pictures of someone else having sex as NTR might indicate that you're so fragile and insecure that just the existence of other people having sex causes you a grievous, unrecoverably wound, but not you!
You're very bold and brave. You don't shy away from saying the things other people might be worried would reflect really badly on their own self-esteem. Kudos to you, good sir. The world needs heroes like you.
Marvelous Post! :ROFLMAO: I've ran out of reactions though, so (y). I really hope that the dev isn't letting the usual suspects of F95 trigglypuffs get to him. They do this in any game thread where an LI (or even a non-LI) has even the barest hint of a sex life not involving the MC. This game had promise. It wasn't a home-run, but it had had some intrigue, a few interesting characters, and room to grow. I'll definitely come back to see the next installment if the dev sticks too it, but the fact that he already wiped his Patreon is concerning. (the price points were pretty jank though, so that was fair criticism).

ys succeeded in making Kimberly the perfect combination between a really intriguing girl and a bitch, there is something that resonates with her character as well that she us hot as hell. Characters introduced do far are quite promising, after playing the first better I can only praise what we've gotten so far, really excited to see more of Kimberly and co moving forward to those times too!

Agreed. Kimberly is far and away the most interesting girl in the game so far. She's ruthlessly pragmatic and definitely has some kind of complex about projected strengh and status which affects how she treats others, but it comes off to me as if she's hiding insecurities. She projects confidence and she's aware of her looks which she uses it to her advantage, but she also immediately latches onto MC as the one person she knows from home. She also doesn't get pissy when you disagree with her. So I'm thinking she's a type of LI that changes over time and she's clearly interested in MC. So I guess too bad for all of her simps back home but maybe she just has a thing for dudes that casually wear 80s action movie headbands :ROFLMAO:

Well, the people praising this game here should have put their money where their mouth is because nobody showed up to support the dev, so it got abandoned.

The patreon had a tier of like 200 dolars, lol The developer probably thought he would make a bank with this, too bad he made a game that appeals to no one, such a waste of good character models.

Last I know the dev was planning to make a new version that takes the criticism into account.
That was before the thread was labeled abandoned, though.
If he does, he should stick to three LIs split path. Seven LIs split path is unworkable. That means drop Dina. She did not raise interest and only served as a rallying cry that the dev forced you to choose between ugly monogamous LI or attractive girls who sleep around.
I was looking forward this game nice renders and story such a shame the dev is too sensitive for critism
Might have to do with lacking patrons too. Should have stuck it out. What did he expect for v0.1. Even the best release AVN this year, Tides of Succession, has a scant 15 patrons for v0.1.

I generally don't think paths are a good idea. Individual scene paths are one thing, but "routes" are usually not a good idea for an update based game.
Every route splits a big part of the content, so an update where a developer made 40% scenes for all, 20% per love interest for a total of 100% of the update content, any player following a single route will only see 60% of the work the dev did.
For a 7 LI split, this would be something like barely more than 50%.

This generally will make updates seem a lot smaller to the player than they actually are. The result of this content-splitting is that updates seem small, progress little and doesn't seem worth playing - discouraging patreons to resubscribe and instead having them wait a couple months for more content to be worth immersing themselves in the game again.

Update based indie development has to be done very carefully when it comes to routes, in my opinion. Games that aren't updated but fully released and sold are different, because they don't feature this trickle content. But they're generally not support by patreon-models but follow the traditional publisher/investment financing.

That's usually one of the great things about harem games. They don't have paths, they just have choices of what content you want to see (what LIs to have) and how that content should unfold (kink/fetish), allowing players to go back & try a different path without having to skip through the entire game from the start.

My guess? Since they seem to be intend to overhaul the game from the start, there won't be an update for quite some time, and that means it would be quite a while before the rerelease and even longer before the first update follows. So any patreon would have to be very patient and wouldn't see any reward for their support anytime soon.

agreed, splitting 7 Li paths and split side girls (fuckboi path) is a lot, plus adding a harem tag didn't help either when you choose anyways

Geez, abandoned already? Didn't even last a month
Who else is shocked, right ??:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: We're all soo supportive until it's time to put that money where our keyboards are... suddenly, it's everyone for themselves lol. But anyway, a lil honesty and professionalism go a long way in this business. Admittedly, the dev made a lot of mistakes other users have already pointed out, none of those mistakes are something that can't be fixed up with a few tweaks here and there to the story tho.

Sad to see the game being presumably abandoned and definitely hope the dev reconsiders it and at least tries to salvage it, but as long as some much-needed changes ain't being made to turn the game into either a full-on NTR game or an actual non NTR/romance-focused one, the end result won't look any better than it currently does.:cautious:

Well. that was a very good starting build, with distinct models, great graphics and all the needed ingredients to make this one enjoyable.
But dev prolly did not take into account that you have to build rep first and even that does not guarantee you success, a lot of project with similar approach died pretty fast and there is a lot more to come before AI eats this industry for good.
We'll see if this one will actually get back to life, but for now - another wasted attempt to do a decent VN I guess.
