If however you let him get involved, it might be for a myriad of reasons but then your Jane would not have an opinion as strong about males leaving the door open to have them get involved more in the sexual life of your character. However, it still doesn't feel like Jane would go out of her way to get involved with them and would still go for the girl herself 100% of the time.

As I said, even if the scene (scenario) is not to your taste, you still put a “like” because you appreciated the artistic side of the scene, and I thank you for that.

When I create fan art, in most cases I stay within the spirit of the game, but sometimes I do a scene that breaks the rule, just for fun.

But getting back to the game itself, even if there are some sad stories, don't you think there's a fair amount of humor in it too?

I feel the humor is needed here to balance out the dark drama. Humor is a powerful tool. And also this game is placing it's humor carefully, it doesn't undermine the drama by trying to cheapen it either. It even feels like the drama is enhanced by the humor since the humor allows the drama to go deeper without feeling overbearing.

Exactly. Sexuality can be both a spectrum, and fluid. Not for everyone, but college years especially are a time folk experiment and discover new aspects of themselves. I imagine that number increases if you suddenly have an extra set of genitals you didn't before.

Those few who still remember the television series 'Scrubs' may recall it was mostly goofy and funny, but it was never afraid of toning down its use of jokes in order to effect a serious and emotional story. The episode 'My Screw Up' is a particularly nuanced example of such. A story that is grim, dark and depressing from start to finish will inevitably leave its audience feeling rather weary, if not outright sickened by it. Thus, the use of humour to juxtapose the serious against the silly is, to a degree, quite necessary.

This is a common, widespread practice. In many games, both the same and different developers, the appearance and designs of characters are repeated. I am not an expert, and simply from the point of view of the viewer, I will assume that this may be due to either the fact that it is easier to take a ready-made character code from someone else's game than to write a new one, or it is easier to take a ready-made design, the appearance of a character that has already interested users is considered attractive, than to offer an appearance that may not be liked.

Those characters, in this game and in the one you think HaHT stole from, are bought from the public asset store for DAZ, the engine used to create the renders. They even have their own name in the store. All those games simply took the assets from the store and used them raw without changing them, making them instantly recognizable.

Status update - Episode 5

Hey everyone,
It's been a minute since the last update, I've been continuing to work on the game since then and have made some decent progress. But my normal day job has also been taking more of my time than usual as it's gotten a bit hectic lately. I have been considering some changes here and am toying with the idea of eventually going full-time into this, but it's honestly a complicated decision that will require time. In the meantime I'll keep doing my best to juggle both.
Anyways, at the moment I'm at around 500+ renders and 16+ animations. Most of the work went into the animations and I'm working on some more right now. There is still a ton of work to be done, but we're slowly inching forward.
