and they are doing math on how much content usually there is per update and account all the variables like how many people in the development team and the amount of renders and animations and all the code and writing there is to be made and wondering if 4 months is feasible for an update and then wondering if they continue or not with the usual rant about wanting the update now. That is the usual moronic logic behind those vague statements . But maybe I'm wrong assuming it, who knows.

Well simple math would tell them that the thread was open January 2023 and last update October 2024 and that is 21 months, and excluding the first episode there was 3 more after that. 21/3 is an average of 7 months per episode so no one should ever expect an update before that 7 months gap but each update has their unique variables to be accounted. Myself I'm very patient, after all I'm getting this games for free on this pirate site and there is plenty other great AVNs around, I never lack good games to play.

Try search "android port v0.4.1", I found 2 hits and 1 of them I guess it is what you want with scrappy mod. I could link it to you but people just should start using the search function, it is there on the forum for something.

I feel the humor is needed here to balance out the dark drama. Humor is a powerful tool. And also this game is placing it's humor carefully, it doesn't undermine the drama by trying to cheapen it either. It even feels like the drama is enhanced by the humor since the humor allows the drama to go deeper without feeling overbearing.

One of the complaints I've seen a lot of in the Confusion thread is precisely that the game appears to concentrate on how difficult the MC's life is because she's trans. It's become more balanced in the latest chapters. A few were saying some more lighthearted content would have been better.

Maybe I forget something, but we don't know what happen to Lisa between her mother's death and now.
I doubt she was living alone in the streets for all these years.
So I suppose she was adopted or placed in the foster system.
She probably didn't have a very happy childhood and adolescence. But a rough time like that could have shape her mind to get the best education she can to escape her condition.

Alley_Cat I think that the serious tone of Confusion suit it, It's telling a more grounded story. While both having a hard time and Confusion are entertainment, Confusion has feelings it want's to pass along as well as bring out the player's empathy for the seriousness of the situation the characters are going through. Situation sadly all to real. It even took me a few months from the time I noticed the game to the time I played it until I felt I was in the right place mentally to play the game simply by looking at the spoiler images and reading the synopsis. Having a hard time while it has tragedy and might have some message it wants to pass to the player, has a bigger emphasis on the entertainment part. An analogy that pops a lot in my head about balancing darkness with light is the late Kentaro Miura's Berserk. Especially the start of the series where Gut's darkness is made more approachable by Puck's whimsical light. I feel the humor in HaHT serves a similar purpose.

Lisa probably lived in foster care during her youth once her mother passed away, she probably has some special grants to study and pay for her dorm right now considering her situation. That makes me wonder if she has a part time job. Considering the game looks like it's in the US my guess her grants might not be enough for her to live fully off of.
