Not to pile on your misery but operating systems before 10 are obsolete and have been phased out. They no longer have support and developers both indie and AAA have stopped making games that run on those systems.

It's only a matter of time now until you can only play old games, nothing new will run for you.

I understand, buddy, I've been there too, but with all due respect, in this day and age, a decent PC and internet access are not a luxury, they're a fucking necessity. Years ago, when I had a job that allowed me to save a little, I was able to invest in a decent PC. It wasn't the best, but it has served me well ever since, and I've been able to play many games that I could only dream of before.

Now, after more than five years, it's very outdated, and the current situation isn't the best, but when I have the opportunity, I'll get a better one.

Before anyone asks, I have no idea about the "Wincest" patch yet, I have not looked at the update at all, and have no idea if it needs an update or not. Might not get updated until public release, maybe sooner. No point constantly asking about it.
