many posts explain this. the game is not abandoned it's just a technicality because of f95's rules that the abandoned tag is added after a developer does not communicate for a set amount of time. the dev will come back and update out of nowhere, we just have to wait

usually that is 9 months , since the last update so we should expect next update - somewhere in july-august

Original plan was to split the next update into two parts so that he initially could release the next version sooner but with this dev you never know....

Probably it'll be 9 months but only a partial update anyways...

it was a great game

This game has made the trip back from the great beyond more than once i think, which is why people here(including me) are a bit more optimistic about it's "return" than other games.

Just the way this dev works i guess.
