There is a discord indeed but i don't even know if the dev ever posted anything on it ever, only a few people discussing things the same manner as this site.
Maybe you should double check your timeline. The Patreon page was blocked/under review until 3. September 2024. At this point, it was still possible to access the page, but it was not showing any post and only a large "This page is under review" banner
Then the update was dropped on the newly reactivated Patreon page out of nowhere on 12. September 2024 and posted on here almost immediately.
Patreon page was then deleted on 14. October 2024 and Xeno migrated to SubscribeStar.

Decent? Please... It was one insanelly big blueballs event. Like MC's intelligence suddenly dropped and hit caveman levels, because he kept pushing against every booty in sight. Literally 'monke sees, monke grabs', rinse and repeat for the whole update. And then when his malfunctioning blood-deprived brain (because for the whole update blood never left his penis) managed to finally push someone into performing actual sex act, he got stopped second before orgasm with most basic cliches. Every single time.
And with all this, there was NOTHING MORE than this highly unsatisfying sexual content in the update. No story progress, but no proper sex either, just endless teasing and blueballing MC. Literally the filler update. So I totally understand why patrons might get dissapointed.

Thats the problem with the last update, its a filler update like you said. But its a filler update that took almost 1 year to launch, it would have been more acceptable if it was a 3 months update or something. I replay chapter 8 all the time, but barely 9, its much superior honestly. It sucks that major and filler updates of this novel take the same time to release.

No one knows. Even the Discord team has no informationIt is not the first time the dev disappears for an extended time so he might still be working on it in the background. Don't hold your breath though
Agree fully on the convenient part. Patreon is where you get to make the most money because its easy and convenient to become a patreon for the most people. Most people don't do crypto and setting up a wallet for them is a lot of hassle.
To add, Patreon doesn't use PayPal. PayPal doesn't allow it to be used to purchase or sell "Sexually oriented digital goods or content delivered through a digital medium. Examples of digital goods include downloadable pictures or videos and website subscriptions." So, neither do they support OF.
