Cynical take: by delaying updates a mod can keep a game like this (with an overactive thread) relevant and keep gaining new subscribers 'for free.'
If that is the case, letting this thread go silent - lowering the profile of the game - may be the best chance to get an update. As long as there are dozens of posts a day - even if they are complaints - the game remains high-profile and the dev has an incentive to delay updating as long as possible. If your stats on multiple sites all show lots of interest in your game, why update until your 'popularity' starts to drop off and you need to grab back the attention you are losing? It reminds me of dog training, where if your dog is off leash and ignoring your commands to come back, the immediate solution is to turn around and walk away and they will immediately run back to you.
So I think if we want an update our best chance is to stop posting in this thread and just be patient, and that every infinitely redundant post whining about the lack of un update just prolongs the wait. Posting this then ignoring this thread until the next substantive update....

If he's paused payments for subs, he's not making money from the game anyway so this would be the biggest of effort yo actively avoid posting in hopes of getting him to drop an update early. He wont notice a drop in revenue because payments are already paused.

I think he did summin similar before. Pauses and delays don't bother me either way, if I'm not being charged. I'm not entitled to anything but what I'm paying for.

Imagine going through the trouble of creating your own "team" just to mimic and copy and paste what someone else is doing just because they're not moving fast enough for you. Sad part is it might happen which is beyond pathetic. The entitlement.

Me and some others have been cooking away on the fan art page (go see!!), perhaps now would be a good time to put together some like fan art "shorts" to enjoy in the interim... like fan fiction chapters...
Not to replace Xeno, I hope they are well. Just something to enjoy if there is an extended delay inbound. Would be cake to code in Ren'Py and many of us already have the main cast built in our own Daz environments.

Hi folks, you might be wondering: why the heck hasn't Xenorav been posting weekly reports these past two months? Well... basically bcause I went to jail.
I know it's April and all with that whole "April Fools" thing going on, I wish this was a joke but it is not.
I'd love to spill more details, but I don't wanna risk revealing my personal identity by oversharing. I just did something really really stupid (Nobody died or was abused, just to clarify.)
I'm going suspend the payment cycle for the next two months, just like I always do when I'm not posting anything.
Huge thanks to those who've stuck around even though I haven't made a post in two months, wow! Seriously, thank you so much, that speaks volumes about your love for this project, it means a lot to me.
Like I said, I was locked up and couldn't make any progress, here's a report of what I managed to do before all this happened.

- Images = 85% (400 images) + (12 animations)

Estuve en prision por un accidente, hice algo muy muy estupido. (Nadie murió ni nadie fue abusado, solo para aclarar.)

Thing is many devs take it for granted that they have many subs who pay a small or even big amount month by month. And THIS guy in particular has been a let down ever since. Don't care that he turns off the payment cycle. He really should get his sh*t together by now and start to pay something back! Deliver weekly devlogs for MORE than two weeks in a row, deliver game updates in HIS estimated shorter 3 month cycle. He promised SO much last year and NONE of it came even close. Everything I read from guys like this are excuses. Maybe I'm too invested but I'm really tired of bs like that...

he can't be worse than the creators of Operation Lovecraft Fallen Doll, that game still has not officially released yet, and i don't think they will ever get their shit together, they might some day but i have already waited more than 2 years for that game

That's not the point. I know about more unreliable devs than the opposite. That's the point. Xenorav is just another guy in a sea of unreliable developers who don't deliver what they promise. There's always someone doing even worse but in the end the point is that there's too many of them.
