No, the dev just never posts development updates, this is why it always has the abandoned tag in the first place. The update will just randomly drop whenever it's ready.So he is in the jail again.
The upcoming chapter update supposely come out with 2 chapter. And the Dev did says that the first chapter might come out in 6 month... Now his month means this year November or December...
